Evening chaps.
Late to the party and I’m sure most of you will have put the game out of your minds already and understandably so, but thought I’d offer again more worthless contribution from a different perspective.
In terms of the game, to be honest I thought we were very fortunate to get anything from it. Allen’s completely let your side and manager down and a player of his calibre should know better. I know he’s not been great for Stoke, but I think like Afobe if we had him he’d be pretty good here.
You’ve some fantastic players, N’Diaye (sp) didn’t look like he’d been away, Clucas is a great player in this league, Hogan and Campbell on the bench.... you just need a lucky break from somewhere, I hope it works out for Jones but it’s getting to the stage now where you have to wonder how much time he’ll actually be afforded.
We were predictably ordinary, typical Johnson change of system after 18 minutes, players no idea really what they’re doing until half time. His in game management is good (Johnson) but not much else, can’t see us maintaining our position.
Was a fantastic day out, the OB surprisingly were top notch both at the stations and in the pubs, no escorts or anything, no bollocks after the game, I was pleasantly surprised. Didn’t see a hint of trouble between fans either, saw someone get dragged out for letting off a fire cracker which made me jump but not quite as bad as Cardiff away the other year when one of our fans let it off in the concourse, was nearly deafened.
Cheers lads (and lasses?) and best of luck for the season, your luck will turn eventually. KTF.

Have a good season and beware of the gas heads. I agree. Hopefully it’ll come, most admit when Jones bemoaned your lack of clinical finishing on Saturday I had little sympathy given he decided to loan out Afobe who IMO was the best finisher at Stoke, even if he may not have shown it in his time. And don’t you worry about that. mate

Mate that firecracker thing was horrendously loud, not your average smoke bomb that get lit from time to time. Can only imagine how loud it would of been if let off in the confined space of the concourse 🙉 .. sounded like a stun grenade flash bang thing the special forces use!
Good to read your views on the game, just about sums it all up nicely really
