Please get a video/recording of today’s game for your lad and show him what Lee Gregory did(run his knackers off) and tell him when he comes on you have to at least try and break sweat🙄Apart from one run did he actually put it in?Then the cross at the end🙄I’m a big fan of him and Tom Edwards But BOTH have got to improve if they’re going to have the careers we all think they’re going to have.

I believe he thinks his son is very good. We psychiatrists call it Paul Ince Syndrome.

I believe he thinks his son is very good. I have no doubt that he’s a good player but I just expect him to be abit more active when he comes on

He was absolutely abysmal when he came on, along with Hogan.
The very least you expect from a youngster is hard graft and movement. He offered nothing and the result of his afternoons work was that ridiculous cross that almost hit row z, when he had a packed box to aim at. It's one thing giving kids a go but they have to show they are worth it and as hard as it is to stomach, they are offering very little when given the chance at the moment - Nathan Collins aside.
If we are going to slate the manager when we lose then we have to be fair and appraise everything for what it is, including the performance of our younger players.

He has the potential, but his workrate must be upped.

Campbell showed why he is on the bench.
Woeful, lacked effort, a knackered Gregory would have offered more.

Really. Young players were the issue today? An ageing and frankly toss international was sent off and an England keeper was weak as piss and its the kids?!?!

Should have done better when he had the ball. Gregory is an issue though and people won’t want to see it because he did work his taters off. He needs someone up with him because he’s no threat to the goal. Not his issue though.

The best bit for me was how he lay down alongside Badou et al as if he was shattered. That's not the way to prove you can last the pace. If he was so tired after 20 minutes of not doing much he has serious fitness issues.

No, but he worked his balls off. Campbell’s kit won’t even need washing because he didn’t even break sweat. Cant remember sheron, stein or fuller running around too much but scored plenty though for strikers. Great work rate and effort from gregory granted. Campbell is a striker and as such will come alive near the goal not away from the goal as that is what he naturally does.

I thought Gregory was channelling his inner Gary Birtles today.(One for the older gentlemen amongst us 😉) Ran himself into the ground, desperately wanted him to get a goal today.Intelligent movement, there was one run and a fabulous pass from Clucas or McLean? in the first half that created an opportunity which I think no other forward on our books would have engineered.(An idindictment of some of our forward play these lat few seasons in itself.) Campbell just wanted to hang on the shoulder of the last defender for the ball over the top,a good trait in a forwards armoury but not remotely enough in isolation. Needs to do more off the ball, especially when we're down to ten men.

Just say it and that’s what it means 😂 And they will and he was our third best player today. But he’s meant to be one of the highest paid players in the league. For that we need more than hard work. Not helped by his managers tactics today at all but also don’t think it’s harsh to expect more. I think it’s daft to expect more though because his career suggests this is what he is. Hence why he needs a partner up there or willing runners. Just playing one creative midfielder with him is a massive fuck up too.

He did one more thing more than Hogan, neither did well, Hogan as a defence is a bit thin to say the least I'll be kind to them both and say that they both need a player like Gregory on the pitch for them to do well.

Of all the youngsters we have only Collins is good enough to play regularly. Verlinden, I think, has huge potential but Edwards and Campbell are nowhere near.
