I was in 2 mind about whether I want him gone or not.
Then I read about 65 posts from BayernOatcake and Momo to get him out.
Now Im a Bona Fide JONES IN convert.
God their repetition is so boring

“I’ve come in to the club and it took me a long time to really put my stamp on it because there were so many individuals that had opinions and didn’t really care if this club won or lost.
“I’ve kept my counsel and taken all the blame for results but there wasn’t a together group here that cared enough about the football club, about me and cared enough about training or anything.
That's a big call after 1 win. The win is solely down to his tenacity the garbage before down to other individuals at club is what I read but he's happy to take the blame aslong as everyone knows it wasn't him.
Just fuck off Nathan

Mirror Sport understands Moyes wants a return to the Premier League, after turning down the offer of jobs in the Championship and League One in recent weeks. I would love Marco Silva to be Stoke Manager Based on his ultimate failure at Hull, Watford or Everton?

Just who are these people who didn't care about the club or whether we won or not? Any of the 12 you brought in? He took all the blame for the defeats - well he did pick the team, tactics, subs etc All this talk is designed to protect Nathan from the realisation he hasn't got a clue and out his depth I wonder whose to blame if we lose to Fulham Borderline barking

I understand the relief after Swansea but since then some of his comments have been a little bizarre, including the Hogan wasn't in the squad, saw a sports scientist, promised to score the winner, then bang he's in the squad..He's gone to a new level of crazy.

Master of his of his own madness, I’m firmly of the opinion that a fan from the stands could of done a better job.
Yes he’s won a grand total of one game all season but Christ he’s served up some right crap and the future doesn’t bode to well given his record so far.
I’ll reserve my judgment that anyone who thinks JM is a left back has no place in football whatsoever, totally insane.

Strange that TP is rarely linked to these sort of vacancies. Ghosts usually only haunt one house. Why have you ever heard anyone saying he's Mourinho or poch or of that ebb ??? Haters always gonna hate... Pisser and desperate to say the least.....

So we've reached Wednesday and there's no still apparent movement and not a word from the Club. Looks they're hiding behind the Swansea result and hoping Jones has "turned the corner".
Much as I think he's totally out of his depth and I'd like to see Jones gone, I really hope that results do improve or we could be well up sh*t creek without a paddle by the time the Board finally wakes up and they do eventually pull the trigger and fire him.
It's looking like Jones's Swansea result was just like Hughes's Watford win, and we all know what happened after that.

I think all the speculation has to stop for now, it's pretty sodding clear he'll be in charge for the Fulham game at the very least.
Although, the amount of talking he's doing after 1 win is pretty embarrassing. He'll be booking an open top bus parade around the city if we beat Fulham.

It was a wonderful win, against top of the league and a last minute winner. But it was exactly that- one win.
I think everyone at the club especially Jones should keep their counsel. Fulham up next so we’ll see how we do.
Until we put a run together, drag ourselves out of the bottom three and begin to move up the table then just keep quiet Nathan.
He’s not going anywhere, that’s obvious, so we’ve got to hope we’ve turned a corner. I’m not so sure yet.
We’ve simply had too many false dawns.

That was a lame win against whereas the Swansea game was an excellent performance.

Let's see if this "plan" involves bringing McLean back if, as it appears, the only reason he didn't play against Swansea was due to injury and not NJ's astute tactical awareness.

Foriegn, sharp suit, sexy accent = must be quality
It's the Roberto Martinez effect...a flash continental appearance masks being quite shit as a manager

The quotes in the article mention others in the club with "opinions' and couldn't care less attitude absolutely nothing to do with the quality of recruitment. He's a pretty brainless bloke but surely to God not even he can be pointing the finger at personnel still employed at the club. The way I see it is Players talk to their agents The agents talked to Cartwright, as was mentioned in his own appraisal of his role. Cartwright collates and conveys issues to the management team Jones tells Cartwright to fuck off with his 'opinions' Cartwright resigns citing an unworkable position. Or something along those lines

Has anyone criticising Jones for getting carried away read or listened to any full interviews? The Sentinel one above ends with "We can’t get carried away because it’s one win – but it was a wonderful win."
He even admits he looks like a maniac at times.

I'm really looking forward to Jones in full on maniac mode. It will go one of two ways - either we will hurtle up the league and put in a promotion bid or the wheels will fall off and we'll be further adrift at the bottom. I'm looking forward to the ride - where's the popcorn?

Just a thought..Nathan thought he was getting the boot,so I guess, did the players and staff. Just maybe he told a few people a few home truths and what he really felt about their attitudes to him, the Club etc. as he thought he was leaving. He may even've witnessed a few who quite clearly thought it was good that his time was up(well and truely ratted out) I'm only speculating but it would account for the ranting and 'going to be myself' comments. He was possibly trying to please too many people who he really didn't need to please. No more Mr Nice Guy. In doing so, it was maybe a weight off a few of the decent players who'd been putting up with sh!t from 'couldn't care lessers' We'll see but I do get the feeling that he's had a real go and got a lot off his chest and that behind the scenes some have shown him their true colours and that he has maybe shown he can be a real leader. Onwards and upwards hopefully. I don't care if he is barking as long as he gets us back on track. We've all known for ages that there was a load of crap behind the scenes. Let's hope that week of strangeness has gone some way, if a bit by accident, to sorting it out.

I'm just glad no other managers we've had have tried to embellish their achievements.
As I've said before, Pulis used to sound off all the time about what he'd done at a club when it started going wrong. His final days at WBA he was basically just saying numbers. It's a survival mechanism, lots on here say they don't care what the club comes out with in terms of platitudes when we lose and stuff so why give a shit when we win?

If his inconsistent, meandering and self serving media ramblings are similar to his communication with the squad, Swansea was a one off and we’re well and truly fucked.
There’s a difference between assured confidence, arrogance and delusion!

He's won one game !
