We've gone down the 'up and coming, young prospect' route, only an experienced, been there, done it manager will get us out of this mess.

QSF got quite a few votes already
It's a massive shame he turned us down when he did, things probably would have turned out a lot different, its not the right time for him now mind.

Chris Hughton but with a heavy heart, the problems go beyond the managers we have had, even though they have failed. I’d go foreign but they won’t, so what’s the point.

Phil Neville
But I don't think he's available.

Hughton, Neil, Carvalhal for me.
I think Danny Cowley deserves a shot at a bigger job than Lincoln, but I think he’d be a too Jones-like appointment, and he deserves to come into a club that’s less of a shitstorm.

I think Monk is an interesting runner. I couldn't stand him at Swansea but he's clearly got summat about him
Hughton #1 by a distance though.

If i were Cowley I would stay as far the fuck away from this club as humanly possible. He’s got a good thing going at Lincoln, he wouldn’t have the time, patience, support or respect from the players to properly command here. Don’t do a jones.

Aye but I think we need an experienced manager as I think we have such fickle players a quality, inexperienced manager would be disregarded. He’s never managed at our level before. We’ve done this before

We’ve done this before I agree. I would prefer a short term experience appointed (the only two in my view are TP and Big Sam) but it isn’t correct to say he’s the same as Jones. And if you brought him you’d want a steady head upstairs to advise and guide.

Oh, I’m not alikening to him as Jones, I’m just saying the situation could be similar to that of which jones has put himself in - an emerging manager with a steady job, a good system, who are on the up, thrown away with dollar signs in the eyes. Stoke City could ruin any upcoming manager, at least if it’s an experienced one they won’t have their career ruined by this shithole.

I think Lincoln are destined for a Luton situation, but I genuinely don’t think we’ll go down. Just hope Cowley sticks with them and makes something of the club rather than pissing it down the drain like jones did.

Voted- Allardyce, probably not likely but I think he’d be a perfect fit for stoke.
Who I think we will get - Hughton and I’d be happy with him.
Who I’d accept - Moyes, Pulis, Pearson QSF

If we like younger more forward-thinking managers then Alex Neil is a good choice, he works miracles with very little resources - which will also appeal to our board. Pulis, Hughton, Monk - would any of them come. All quite clever and will do their homework, they will all surely get better offers than the poison chalice that is Stoke.

My lady has asked if she can be added to the list. She said no one should be paid unless they win a game.
gets my vote.

Who I’d accept - Moyes, Pulis, Pearson QSF Pearson and QSF were to of my votes. I think Pearson's more pragmatic approach is what's needed right now. Going after QSF when we did made sense, I wonder where we would be now if he accepted then. I did vote for Pulis, because he would get us to 40 points (the equivalent in Championship is 50, so that's what I mean) and I honestly think he will be our appointment if Jones does go. He will get a season, and then season by season if that works out.

WHEN not IF we do change I’m convinced Coates will go for either Pulis or Hughton. Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that.

1. Alex Neill 2. Danny Cowley 3. Phil Neville I rate danny cowley but he'd be broken at our club within a month. Theres something about Alex Neill as well. He looks the type who would take no shit from anyone and thats what we need.

I went for Hughton but there’s a lot on the list that wouldn’t come. Neil is a good shout as he strikes me as quite a tough character but why would he leave Preston. TP on a one year to keep us up is a decent option.
