Tom Edwards was poor today but is so much better than Smith it makes my eyes bleed. Both are hopeless. Let's be brutally honest about it. And the left side is worse! What a shambles

I'm sure you're copy and pasting my posts from 2 months ago ;-) I've been saying it for just as long. Seems we're all on the ball I said so after Duisburg 😁

Didn't think he was that bad today but he's a League One player at best isn't he? Can't pass the ball.

i posted on july the 2nd that it would not take stoke supporters long to suss out the reasons we released jordan cousins in the summer, he is a very poor footballer im afraid. no pace.no footballing brain and a shockingly bad passer of the ball thats why his assists stats are so poor, for a so called midfield dynamo. just be grateful he was free and wont be on a high wage

One of the most limited footballers ever to play for Stoke and he brought him in to be a lynchpin of his system. He's GOT TO FUCKING GO! I trump your Jordan Cousins with Ray Wallace😁

To be honest, any delight experienced from.seeing Jack and Joe dropped from the team was replaced with incredulity when I saw his name on the teamsheet. Woods had a bad game against Preston but had looked back to his best against Derby and Wigan. He didn't deserve to be dropped. To be honest I think Jordan might have been better on the left of midfield, replacing Clucas instead. He's known more (at least from his Charlton days) for power and driving runs. Jordan's atrocious performance today leaves me wondering what the fuck NJ's been doing with him all summer! Woods was injured. Fair enough. Jones gets a modicum of credit for not picking Jordan through choice. But without a suitable backup DM in a game of this difficulty, NJ should have ditched the diamond for a different formation - a defensive 4-3-3 would have been my choice. Cousins should never be played as a DM ever again.

He looks a good league below the required standard at least. Only one league more like two with the clown who signed him, both are fucking useless.

He was fucking bollocks today. One mistake I’d say. Decent going forward. Far worse performers Is he a better footballer than Pieters ?

Didn't think he was that bad today but he's a League One player at best isn't he? Can't pass the ball. Absolutely- the problem is that out of Allen, Cousins, Etebo and Clucas ( the 4 who played midfield as Duffy ended up being some sort of second forward) not one of them can play the sort of through ball played by Leeds for the first goal; they just don’t have the vision imagination or ball control to do it. I really struggle to think of anything that they actually do well - Joe is “Dil The Dog”, Clucas the Invisible Man, Cousins is Bambi on ice and Etebo beats two and loses it to the third 90% of the time. One of the worst midfield’s to grace the Championship.

Hogan and Gregory out of all his signings might just cut it, the rest are poor to terrible. We spent the most on a guy we didn’t need, we didn’t spend money on the other side but rather tried to convert a winger to a position he’d never played in. Jones overplayed expectations and his media communications were very contradictory. It’s a mess but I think we need to give him another 3/4 games to see if he can turn it around.
I’m starting to hate Saturdays
