So how many of the new recruits are regulars, squad players or not even selected? Jones building his own team 🤔🥰

Well, the only one who hasn't had a game yet is Davies. Duffy's time will come. Powell was injured first game but must still be in Jones' plans. Gregory and Hogan look to be shrewd signings and could form a good strikeforce. Voakes will remain a squad player, best from the bench. Batth did well enough last season. Lindsay looks like he's on a steep lrearning curve but is young enough to develop. Cousins? squad player. CCV - Good season at Swansea last year, young player with bags of potential. Ward? - Squad player, good backup. Tommy Smith? Disappointing so far but will battle it out with Edwards.
Honestly, I'm more concerned with some of the players who WEREN'T Jones' signings ...!

Vokes a squad player at 9 million quid. Batth good start now looks like a donkey likely due to Ryan being out. Smith should never have been signed at 4 million. I'll give you Gregory but the rest? Nah the epitome of mediocrity. More money wasted to compound the dross we've already got.

I think both Vokes and Batth were emergency buys last season. Batth was good, seems to have faded with Ryan's loss as you say, helped to stabilise a very rocky defence. Vokes could still be useful if we ever work out how to put in accurate crosses .... archetypal Number 9, better than Afobe but Gregory is more mobile.

I don’t know if it would worse if that was the case tbh!
