Err, '72 isn't the year I'm referring to and I'm not pointing at the semi final specifically. The Hudson era was a time we failed to progress past 'almost there' ending with the sale of Greenhough. You were referring to “golden eras”. In the 70’s it was from about 1970 to about 1976. That era could never be called “The Hudson Era”, he wasn’t there for most of it! The Waddington Era is probably more apt. The period I am referring to is when Hudson was playing for us. If I said the Waddington era or the Golden Years then you would still have an issue. The Hudson era reference is appropriate.
