I know this may seem petty to some, but it's something that's a real big bug bare of mine......
Each week at the end of "praise & grumble" (at the end of the show), they play the LAST goal scored???
I've not got a problem with it if it's Stoke who score that last goal, but after a good performance that was overshadowed by a dodgy penalty.....why oh why, do I want to hear the commentary on Derby scoring???
Wouldn't it be much better hearing the commentary when Hogan scored the second goal, coming from great work from Gregory???
That's what I'd prefer to hear!!!

Yesterday's post match interview:
"You started the game really well, Nathan"
It's just fawning, sucking-up bollocks.
The one thing we didn't do yesterday was start well. And to be fair, Jones told him so.

They are the softest, most biased media outlet I think I’ve ever heard. Why dont they have the balls to ask the questions that we as supporters want answered?

Tin hat on but Nigel Johnson is a terrible commentator, time he retired I know what you're saying, but it's not who's commentating that's the problem....it's the show playing the oppositions goal at the end of the show that I have an issue with!!! But maybe it is time for Nige to hang up his Mic now!!!

Yup, it’s not so bad after a win because we can indulge ourselves, however after it’s not gone to plan we want an inquest not a love in! Can understand they don’t want to piss the club off but you’d hope for a bit more professionalism from radio stoke

Yeh I've gone off topic slightly but Nigel's commentary is terrible. He'll says things like a high ball clipped out wide when it was a 10 yard sideways pass in the centre circle lol.If you're only listening you won't realise how far off the mark his commentary is

Nige has been a terrific commentator for many years and I think RS are allowing him to still commentate for time served. I don't have a problem with his minor idiosyncrasies, and I certainly don't have a problem with him not being confrontational when interviewing the manager. I reckon some of you deserve McGarry for the stick you give Nige. That would give you some real ammo. Red and White stockings. OS.

Yes, he normally starts off with an open question 'Mark, Paul, Gary, Nathan (whoever is our manager this week) your reaction to that?' And I think that's fair enough, it gives the manager the chance to say what is top of mind which is right for 1 minute post match interviews. I mean he's hardly going to say 'Nathan, another home game, once again we've failed to win, in fact its been nearly 6 months since we did win at the Bet365, what the actual f*ck is going on?!' is he?! Press conferences are different, the journalists should be digging much deeper in those. And anyone who still says 'By jingo!' in this day and age is alright with me

Tin hat on but Nigel Johnson is a terrible commentator, time he retired I actually think Nige is a far better radio commentator than Lee. Not that either are bad but Nige describes where the ball is on the pitch and who's doing what better for me. It makes no odds if you're watching Robs stream but from a purely radio perspective I think Nige paints a better picture of the game.

Will always have a soft spot for Nigel Johnson; he's an important piece of this club's history and his iconic commentary of the cardiff playoff semi is as relevant to us as Tyler's is to the wider footballing world. I can't really judge his commentary from years gone by, so maybe it is just a simple and understandable case of a decline, but I have been shocked at times by how sloppy the commentary is. Without disrespecting the man, I think it's fast approaching time that radio stoke found some younger blood. They can even keep Johnson on in some capacity to smooth over the transition.

I think Nige is fantastic as a commentator. No self importance, no hysteria, just a calm description of exactly what happens on the pitch. I hope that Lee Blakeman spends some time trying to pick up Nige's ability to explain what is happening without shouting a stilted statement designed to be played in the sport headlines in the morning. Understatement is better than overstatement.

George Andrews now there is comedy gold I think it was Portsmouth away he was commentating on such was his hatred of Stoke at this time he was criticising a stoke player for missing a chance after a minute or so his co commentator had to add that they did score from the rebound (Beeston ?). Then there was his ghost goals he regularly called for port vale as the striker rounded the keeper only to miss.

It’s not a case of digging up old graves or making it a witch hunt but there should be more in the line of questioning than simply arse kissing. This is an old chestnut. The press are told before the press conference what questions the manager won’t answer. If they ask anyway, they won’t be invited back. I agree it does not sound right but SCFC is privately owned, answerable only to the owners and they make the rules. So the press does have a difficult job to tease out the answers to the questions we’d all like to know. The immediate post match interviews are conducted by a Stoke employee to generate material for the website. The only thing the fans can do is protest at the match or vote with their feet.
