TOP 2 PLAYOFFS 7TH-10TH 11TH-14TH 15TH-18TH 19TH-21ST BOTTOM 3 - relegated
I'd like to get a general feel where Stoke fans think we'll finish. As fans are generally positive I expect Playoffs or 7th-10th
Personally I think we're going to struggle again
Lets see what the feeling is

I was very positive early in the window when such players were linked.

50 to 55 points is my number should be enough for 15th to 18th but we can’t afford to lose the first 5 or 6 as I fear may happen

16th after flirting with relegation i do not see much change from last season. Prove me wrong Jones.

I'm really in the dark because there are so many players signed I've never previously paid any attention to, let alone heard of. I am decidedly underwhelmed, but not knowing these players, it's entirely possible that they may surprise , but on the face it it's difficult to see that we signed better players than the ones we already had or, for some, moved on. Therefore I think we'll be lucky to improve on last season's 16th.

1st, not a great start but Jones seems too organised to have a bad season. Once the players have a bit more knowledge of each other then we will start getting good results.

15th-18th
GF: Vokes 12, Ince 8, Powell 6, Hogan 5, Gregory 4, Clucas 3, Duffy 3, Allen 3, Smith 2, Campbell 2, Etebo 2, McClean 1, Edwards 1, CCV 1, Cousins 1, Shawcross 1, Batth 1 og 2 = 58 GA = about 64. Pts = 54-60 Finish 15th.
Matters to improve when we switch to 4231 and play more to strengths
Butland Smith CCV Batth Clucas Allen Etebo Ince Powell Duffy Vokes
By end of season: NJ gone around Xmas. Stoke managed by Derek McInnes Afobe to score 18 for Bristol City, who finish 5th. Berahinho in a Thai jail. (okay, the odds are 1-10, so not exactly Doris Stokes) NJ back managing Luton WBA, Derby and Leeds go up Clucas player of the year. Edwards and Collins sold to Tottenham in "undisclosed" double swoop (worth about 20m)

I think we have the players to make the play-offs, but Jones' decision-making (team selection, substitutions, set-up), at least to date, has been poor, so, unless he starts to pay more attention to what most everyone can see and less attention to what Jesus tells him to do, about 12th

Play-offs, 5th/6th, never quite in the hunt for the top 2, who will be WBA and Leeds.

Anywhere between bottom and top.
At the moment we don't seem to have an obvious starting 11 - which is good in the sense we have 22/23 players who look like they're capable of getting in the starting 11 knowing the'll have to perform to keep their place. However it's really hard to judge which 11 will gel.
ok - I'll go 7th...on the basis we'll struggle to work out our best 11, get our act together too late and just miss out...
