Sometimes, opinions aside. Statistics and facts don’t lie. Diouf's scored almost half of those goals. That statistic would be far more sobering if it hadn't included Diouf.

The sad thing is that it was pretty predictable most if not all of these would be shite or, at best, ineffectual. Just like McClean, Hogan, Cousins. etc We don't do bad for a club run by the most incompetent board in the top 2 divisions.
I also thought ECM was half way decent. Not a total flop. Not a glorious success, but a decent squad player, somewhat overpromoted due to the lack of a proper replacement for Arnie.

We have never really had prolific strikers. I mean fullers best was about 11 in a season.

To be fair to Diouf, he also had a season as a right back Seem to remember him scoring a corking header from a corner while he was at right back. If this was three or four years ago, he'd have been right up Jones' street as a wingback.

Most definitely numpty, that’s what’s so disheartening, what’s more striking pardon the pun is that dioufs goals are spread across what? 3 or 4 seasons.

Would like to see him again now.

Scholes should be hung from the Boothen for overseeing this shit show, Plus it would give the strikers something else to aim at and miss, you never know they might find the net. Coates also needs some medical observation for allowing it to continue

A talented but ultimately dreadful player who did not give a shit
