Has something to celebrate, his racehorse won at Chester today. It looked like his mind was elsewhere. It certainly wasn’t on the game, that’s for sure.

I was speaking to a Burnley season ticket holder and he said it was common knowledge in their club that vokes was bottom of every fitness and running test, they decided he was shot as a footballer.
Thankfully stoke came along to line their pockets.
Another fucking shit signing.

He was very poor yesterday but I’ll wait another while before writing him off. He should get 15 goals at this level

Definitely one more to the little horror signings list. I don't diss players at Stoke often but he's just not very good in my view. Apparently he played yesterday as well.

He was poor yesterday BUT we all know he is a striker that needs crosses into the box to be at his best. We don't play to that style, seems another one for the pizza boys blooper reel.

How many times will we keep saying this striker doesn't get the service, that striker needs crosses? Every striker we sign is shit. We don't do due diligence, it's an awful approach to signings. Vokes is finished, if he was a horse he'd be taken to the glue factory. He's done. He's rubbish. He can't run. Along with Afobe up there it's two fucking statues making our rubbish midfield look even worse

I thought we put several very decent crosses in yesterday. One from Clucas in the second half was begging to be scored. As usual though our strikers were nowhere near them.

Maybe this explains any interest in Wickham, not that he's any better.
Was Vokes (and Batth) a club signing that was rubber stamped?

He was handed a goal on a plate and fluffed it. He doesn't look an instinctive goalscorer,he has no pace, can't beat a man, doesn't run the channels and isn't a particularly effective as a target man. And we decided that was worth £9 million

Vokes was woeful yesterday! He was anonymous, Gregory did more in five minutes than he did the whole game. He so slow it’s ridiculous, doesn’t hold the ball up and first touch is shite. For the money we paid he just doesn’t offer anything in a game.

He was very poor yesterday but I’ll wait another while before writing him off. He should get 15 goals at this level Any decent striker hits that first half chance first time to catch the keepr out and 1-0 up. Instead takes a touch and keeper blocks. Kane hits similar ricochet first time from half way line, and we also said if you have played any game time in any league you have hit one yourself or seen them hit and we were n't paid £xxxx a goal as well. Strikers need to be instinctive and campbell is plus his pace scares the defence. Campbell plus powell behind looks a beter option as powell got the ball in good places looked up and nobody running to the goal ahead of him. Charlton play deep and no pace at back so attack them.

Yes, I can remember several groans yesterday as quality balls were whipped in but no one got on the end of them.

Is Campbell quick, anytime I’ve watched him I’ve considered him particularly quick? Seems to have a good instinct for goal alright
