Yes, a shame to see him go. I have fond childhood memories of his Jackanory stories, not to mention all the films and TV he has been in since. RIP.

Very sad. Used to work at the same place as my mum for a while. I always remember him from ‘Dune’ for no good reason. RIP.

RIP Freddie
I lived in Dresden as a lad and was mates with Freddie's nephew. I met Fred a few times on his visits back to Stoke to see the family. Really nice chap as I seem to recall.

You have to possess a certain 'something' as an actor to cultivate repeated interest from David Lynch.
RIP.

Freddie Jones stars in a very nice 1970s TV series - Children of the Stones 1977 Episode 01 - Into The Circle If you like this TV series, then I think you will like "The Perdix Project" by Stoke author Teddy Tunstall. It is a mystery thriller that follows similar themes to "Children of the Stones". The Perdix Projext - www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SJNP9S4It was £4.99, but for a limited period it is on special offer at £1.99p.

Hi Maryberry'sbeanflicker
Yes, I enjoyed it the 70s too and I had forgotten about it until I recently came across it on YouTube. It was nice to have the chance to watch it again.
I wonder if today's children's TV series have the same charm as that series. I don't have a television, so I can't investigate that question..
Sorry to hear about the concentration problem, Actually, I too have a slight problem in that area and I'm hoping it doesn't get worse and prevent me from completing my next novel.
Thanks for replying. No worries about not buying it and I hope you enjoy Children of the Stones if you watch it again.
Best wishes, Teddy.
