Cheers Rob, top man for what you are doing. My grandad was able to watch 90% of last season thanks to you otherwise he would have missed it all.
A little worried that YouTube are hot on copyright and all that, so might have more vigilance on what is being streamed (albeit privately) but I'll trust your judgement.

There shouldn't be any songs or anything to copyright, since Stoke don't even do adverts as it stands. There are also loads of ways to counter that anyway I could just download my stream and edit it take out the sound if I needed to.

The club will have the channel taken down in no time at all, honestly youtube is a nightmare for streaming football from my understanding.

The only thing that could be taken down is uploads of the match and if so I can upload them to other places such as Google Drive anyway. The streams themselves will be unlisted so it wouldn't be visible, and if that doesn't work there are plenty other streaming sites I can use to host. |

Worth considering a backup for sure, definitely keep it private on youtube and paid is the way to go. Restricts who will come on the stream and therefore less chance of it being reported, and you put a lot of effort into it and you could ask for more as far as I'm concerned. |

Thanks Rob - Really appreciate you trying to sort something out for the fans who cannot get to games and for those of us who live in different time zones and want to watch on demand.
Given that Stoke City don't appear to be actively addressing this issue given the numerous threads and concerns after last year I really hope something like this really works out for the coming season.
I would have thought that in the interest of the wider audience and supporter base you would have the clubs backing given that this is set up as a not for profit venture and it effectively promotes the club.
In regards to using 'You Tube' this seems like an ideal platform as accessible to the masses all over the world on a huge range of devices. Hopefully less time for you too.
I am not an active poster but if you need any assistance from afar then I am willing to help where I can.

As I've said, I have other things in motion but I think you all think I'll have this listed as public which I won't. We will trial it for the first game of the season and see where we go. I'll have local backups of the matches anyway so I can upload them anywhere I choose to.
Let me focus on that.
