What is your favourite moment or under appreciated goal by us during our prem days? Whether it be the moment itself that made it special or because of where you are and what you were doing at the time.
Although it could have easily been the west ham away goal, my personal favourite was Fullers goal vs Brum, where he took the piss before turning inside and making it look so easy. Was about 14 at the time watching that before school at 6am, tried to recreate it all lunch time that day haha.
Another top shout or 2 is when Walters scored the 3rd against arse at home. Id had a big bet on us to win ($1000) and had 20 dollars in my wallet left. Idk why I did it to this day but I wacked it on us to score 3 goals in the first half. Found out later on we hadnt done that in like 7 years, guess it was meant to be. Also in that game when Bojans goal to make it 4-0 was disallowed made me realise wow were taking the piss now.
Finallly, not really under rated but ofcouse when we beat liverpool 6-1. I remember calling my mate who usually watched all the games with me at 3am but couldnt be stuffed this night, asked him to guess the score at half time and the laughs that we had were the best. Was quite all surreal. Teared up a little after when nzonzis went in becuse it just showed how far we came.
Also a special mention to how crouch and walters single handedly rescued that game vs hull a few years back before shaq scored that mad 3rd goal.
Whats your special prem moment and why?

Also shouldve mentioned when tps mum died and to see him come out on the touchline at half time and we snagged a late winner was up there.

Aston Villa 1-4 Stoke City, one of the few (if only?) ttimes I remember us going away from home in the PL and playing a team off their own park. Arnie boiling the piss of the home fans after the 4th too was glorious.

Single best moment - Assaidiiiiiii!!!!!
Best performance - 6-1 v Liverpool
Best atmosphere - 3-1 v Arsenal, taking the piss out of Wenger, big time.
Underrated goal - Muniesa at home v Burnley. Showed the level he could have performed at comfortably if the injuries hadn't blighted him.

Diouf's goal v Man City is underrated imho, granted I don't think he intended to 'meg Hart and if he tried to do it again he'd more than likely trip over his own feet, but you can't help feeling that if Shaq,Bojan et al had scored that goal it'd have a loftier standing in the pantheon of great Stoke goals.
Ethers scored a belter away v Spurs,as well.
Great goals scored in away matches often go under radar.Ric's worldy v West Ham is one anomaly that springs instantly to mind tho'.Ditto Charlie's v Chelsea...

Fullers touch on and turn for his goal against Aston Villa in our first Premiership win. 3-2. Bergkamp did that and got called a genius.. no big club bias at all right?!

Bergkamp was a phenomenal player. That goal is held as the crowning glory of a career that saw him win three Premier Leagues, four FA Cups and three European trophies, as well as 79 caps for a very strong Dutch side. I love Fuller and that goal against Villa as much as any Stoke fan, but Bergkamp was of a different class and I don’t think it’s fair to say that his goal is only more famous because it was scored for Arsenal.

Cameron Jerome v Southampton.
We’d been battered and this made me believe we did have an appetite for the fight.

Still my favourite game is the 2-1 v Spurs in the first season after promotion. That game was bonkers and the atmosphere was electric.

Whelan's winner at WHL, I thought that bloody whistle would never go.
And the night, also at WHL, when we made so much noise even the Spud fans applauded us!

Bloody Arsenal! Everyone knows that Charlie's goal scored from his own half against Chelsea was not only memorable but was clearly Goal of the Season. I can still visualize it now. But on MOTD Arsenal fans seemed to hijack the voting and the winning goal chosen was that days 5 man Arsenal tap in which nobody now can still remember.

Beattie's nod in v Wigan was memorable as the moment we sealed another season in the Prem, also Shawcross v Boro who outplayed us but couldn't score, story of their season that year.
Pivotal games as that second season was vital to what was to come.

Pivotal games as that second season was vital to what was to come. I’m 98% sure we were already safe going into that game v Wigan having won at Hull the week before. I remember the Wigan game as having had a carnival atmosphere as the result didn’t really matter between two sides that were happy to have stayed up.

Cup win against Chelsea on pens.
We played great, winning late on and then Bards got sent off and Chelsea pulled one back, looked like the classic 'big team wins in the end'. We survive extra time fantastically playing Diouf at right back (for the first time I think?) where he played amazingly, just after losing his mother to the crush in Mecca.
An excruciating session of penalties and then Hazard, who is maybe the best taker in the world right now, had his saved stunningly by Butland who clawed his arm out when he'd sort of dove past it.

There are a few contenders for me, Charlie Adams goal against Chelsea, Mame Diouf running the full length of the Etihad pitch and nutmegging Joe Hart, Glen Whelan nicking the points after we had been battered for most of the game, I also like Shaqs second goal against Everton but for sheer effect it has to be the Assaidi smash and grab against Chelsea

Apart from Fuller V Villa in our first season, beating City at home even after playing with 10 men for a large portion of the game - who can forget a bloody Beattie? Special mention also to Joselu hugging the ref after awarding a last minute penalty in the 3-4 win at Everton!
But, my all time favorite .... Robert Huth demolishing WHU almost single-handedly in that FA Cup quarter-final game! First scoring from Delap's throw, then nobbling that cheating WHU git and finally pulling a WHU player out of the wall and Higgy driving it through the gap to score! Wembley here we come! Talking of which, 5-0 vs Bolton was also pretty unbelievable!

Fuller missed pen with Delap smashing rebound against the bar in the aforementioned Spurs game Easily the most entertaining missed penalty ever.
