We’ve had our local festival today. There were bands, stalls, pig roasts, cider tents, bouncy castles, tug’o’war, footy tournaments, sheep! & a craft tent, which I helped on. One of the crafts was clay making & I obviously gravitated to it. Oh my life, the amount of yummy mummies that brought their little darlings to my station. I didn’t know where to look(the mummies, not the darlings)I am CRB checked))

I was at a kids roller skate party today and was a yummy mum there skating with her little one, every single circuit I did my best alluring smile - suspect she thought I was special needs !!

So no bowling for a pig then ! Your festival must really be a posh doo.
I trust that the cider was of the rough variety but I suspect that it was one of these fancy ones that seem to be all the rage these days. The last time I was in Bath for a wedding at the Roman Baths rough cider was not available at the free bar. As a teenager in Devizes in the 1960's a pint of rough cider cost 11 old pennies - that's just less than 5p.

You know, the sort that looks like it’s got phlegm in it! Yes, the popularity of cider over recent years has now put it out of the price range for the less discerning alcoholic. Hard times indeed. What’s pig bowling!?!

What's pig bowling ?
It's a bowling alley made from bales of straw with a few skittles and a ball. The winner gets a prize of a pig.
p.s that wedding I went to was for a fellow Stoke supporter who works in Bath and is also a Moonraker. I presume that you know why we are known as Moonrakers.
