Glad he’s gone, more upheaval at that club and less likely to attract high calibre loan players without fat franks name.
So that’s Forest, Derby, Blues and to some extent Boro with big changes/upheaval this summer.
In contrast NJ has brought in key targets early and will take his smaller squad away shortly, perfect prep so far. We could now do with shifting some of the outcasts to create room for2-3 finishing touches.

Nepotism of sorts, he's done nothing to warrant the job.

Derby will be better off if Cocu becomes their manager.

I'm not surprised he's taken it given how obvious it was he was going to get it, but I am a little surprised he's taken it so soon in his managerial career. I thought he would have wanted to build himself up a little bit more before jumping into something like this. To go straight from a decent enough season at Derby to managing Chelsea doesn't seem right to me. It's not as if he needs the money or hasn't got time on his side.
It could work out but if he warrants his career over money then I don't think it's the greatest choice personally.

Hopefully he's got some good people around him as Derby were quite poor and lucky to finish so high last season.

According to some on here he wasn't good enough to be our manager yet Rowett was.

Seeing as Rowett had a better record at the shaggers than Lampard, does that make him good enough for Chelsea?!

Will FLC make the top 4? Think it's fair to say three of the top four places are sewn up. Arsenal are in a mess, The Shit also Hazard has left and they have appointed a manager no other Premier League club would appoint. One away win after Xmas wouldn't normally see you bag a top job. Leicester and Wolves should see the coming season as an opportunity to Bret the top six monopoly.

Be interesting to see if he has the conviction to use the younger players while he has Mr Abramovic's axe not too far away.

Great player , hope he does really well for them I really like Frank Lampard. I think the Derby experience would have given him time to shape his managerial skills. It would be a good for the domestic game for an England manager to succeed in the Prem so I hope he does well there. It's a very difficult job and a huge ask to match Man City and Liverpool.

Will FLC make the top 4? Euro Cup - perhaps a year of stability with no transfers allowed (pending appeal) then spend like mad and top 4 20/21.....perhaps?

Finishing 6th in the Championship shouldn't get you one of the biggest jobs in the country. It's more of this 'knows the club' bollocks that saw Spurs get stuck with Sherwood and Man U stuck with Solskjaer.

I’m not convinced by Zidane either to be honest, but he and Pep were at least appointments from within who’d worked extensively with a generation of players coming through.

Identity crisis as football club seeks new name.
Frank Lampards Derby are looking for a new name as Frank takes his brand to the premiership with Frank Lampards Chelsea..
Early favourite is the club formally known as Frank Lampards Derby. 😁
