The Men Who Stare At Goats. An absolute gem in my opinion, never met anyone that liked it besides myself though.

Donnie Darko. Watched it a number of times and still can't quite get my head round it. Fantastic film, director bit of a one hit wonder, his other works have been widely slated although I enjoyed 'The Box' since it's a feature length twilight zone episode. The film makes a lot more sense if you watch the Directors Cut by the way

The Big Lebowski.
Quite like Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive. Lynch is on some sort of LSD.

I need to watch this again, not seen it in years
