Not my club so not in the slightly bothered , if I’m been honest Personally I think that’s a somewhat selfish and shortsighted view. Better just hope it never happens to us. The last club to be this close to extinction was Pompey who had enjoyed time in the top division and a cup final. Some of their fans had thought it could never happen here. Like I say Malcom it doesn’t bother me , I have more things to worry about than the plight of Bury FC

Can you believe the state they're in at the moment?
Just had their 4th League fixture so far postponed and their cup game vs Sheff Wednesday was also postponed.
Can't pay creditors, owner 'says' he will definitely sell, staff begging him to do so. Have until August 23rd to prove they can pay creditors and fulfil the season or they risk expulsion from the EFL.
Sad state since they were just promoted last season despite all of this hanging over their heads.

It makes me proper sad Burys plight Imagine how we on here would all feel if there was potentially in a couple of weeks no more Stoke City? Football clubs are huge parts of people’s lives for many reasons My heart goes out to all the Bury fans and I hope they get something sorted..

I've never forgiven one of your lot for stealing my Stoke City hat at Gigg Lane during the long cup run we had years ago when I was a kid. Serves you right!

They were promoted because they were cashing cheques they couldn't cover, a bit like Pompey 10 or 12 years ago, bought the FA cup with other people's money.

There is another interview on Talksport where the new owner half accuses the previous owner of taking out a bridging loan secured against the stadium to the tune of over 3M, with only "hundreds of thousands" of said loan appearing in club accounts!
Wow.

I know what you meant. But what you wrote in your last paragraph was ......... "No chance they will break away......" Try making two sentences ....... "No chance! They will break away ........" Ambiguity eliminated! Ah I forgot I have to be anal about grammar dam commas 😁 but in my defence it was blindingly obvious in the context of the whole post what I meant. But point taken thanks, be more careful and spell things out so those who need to be spoon fed or nit pick can understand 😉 Did you mean damn? And, it's not just commas you have to watch for; periods can be quite tricky too, or so I hear.

Accusations, denials, recriminations, despair. I think things now are out of control/ gone too far, and it will all end in tears.

Why didn't Gary Neville and his pals buy Bury? Why Salford? It doesn't sit well with me what they've done at Salford

Steve Dale has rejected an offer from a former chairman that would have secured the future of the club. Reckons he can get a better deal before the deadline on Friday. The club is now on life support.

Steve Dale is an utter zero and even looks like Chuck Blazer another crook. There's probably little Bury can do now and it's back to the Northern Premier.

Like I say Malcom it doesn’t bother me , I have more things to worry about than the plight of Bury FC From your comments it appears that you’re not a football supporter, fair enough. I don’t think anyone is suggesting you “ worry” about the plight of Bury FC. Perhaps an understanding of what a club means within the local community and to its supporter base (however small) may be worthy of a reflective/supportive comment if posting.
