England fans chanting for VAR 10 mins ago after the Sterling chance. Now singing fuck VAR after it goes against us.
Not saying I disagree with them though, fuck VAR.

VAR is shit.
Not going to be able to celebrate goals in the same way anymore for fear of them getting ruled out.
Fucking wank.

I thought VAR was for clear and obvious errors.
The ref and linesman should do their jobs, if there is an obvious error VAR should intervene. The England winner against Netherlands the other night, his shoe lace was offside, the goal should have stood.

If it goes to VAR after it means something happened in the build up to have another look at it. I'd prefer to lose a game fairly, than win it by cheating or not deserving to.

Really? The one from last summer was comfortably the most likeable for 20 years I thought? Yep, not a patch on 96/98. Alli,Sterling,Rose Lingard, Pickford. All a bunch of little shits who seem to have an absolute love in on this board now. (Sterling is admittedly fantastically talented.*) I really like Kane and TAA, but the rest - nah. Same goes for Southgate as a manager. I find them a country mile more likeable than the so-called ‘golden generation’ and the entitled bunch who followed them up to about 2012 or so. This lot aren’t perfect but they don’t seem to carry that entitlement around with them. They seem to actually want to learn and improve.

I’d like to see a postal vote system instead of instant video replays. Anyone who gives a shit after the game can submit one postal vote, on any ‘PAR’ incident that occurs during the game. There can be up to 20 PAR incidents in 90 minutes, decided on by a panel of 3 ex referees and Goldie Hawn.
Goals can be allowed or ruled out based on voting, however if a penalty is subsequently awarded by PAR then they’re taken virtually using FIFA.
Can’t see any immediate holes in this however I’m sure some pedant will pick fault.
