www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48555145Dannie Bulman, the oldest player in the English Football League, will play on until after his 41st birthday after he agreed a new deal with Crawley Town. Bulman, who turned 40 in January, has signed a one-year deal and will mark the start of his 22nd season by making his 400th appearance for the Reds. It is his fourth spell with the club, having first joined on loan in 2006. "I am confident I can do a job," the midfielder said. "I feel fit and strong - there is plenty left in the tank." Bulman has featured more than 800 times in the league since making his debut with Wycombe in the third tier in August 1998.

Fair play to the lad(old man). He's knocking up 30 odd games a season regularly. That's some feat even at that level.
Those with good memories will remember him against us for Wycombe.

Some serious wear and tear on his body you'd imagine given he's playing in the lower leagues which are usually rougher and whatnot

Thought this was another transfer thread for a second ๐ Too young! Since the Championship began our oldest outfield player is Steve Guppy. 35. Ed de Goey slightly older. Forgot about Guppy playing for us. Taggart 6 days younger than Guppy last game he played followed by Matteo, Berger and Asaba

Tony Scholes must be licking his lips at the thought of getting him in on a five year deal.
