In true fairness, we should see Cameron, Osborne, Carney, Blair, Major and the rest of project fear mobsters alongside him in the dock then ? A Remainer who has brought it about by crowd funding, apparently. Fuck me, are people genuinely happy with this? Imagine someone doing it to Corbyn, or the one's you mention? Bizarre times. I think the junior judge who has advised it to go to the higher judges will be due an ass kicking.

Back to the thread question I think we can safely say that it's not going to be Jeremy Corbyn It was never going to be Jeremy Corbyn. It would have been the daftest 'fish out of water' career elevation since Leeds Utd appointed Dave Hockaday as manager.

If, by some miracle, Corbyn did win a General Election he would absolutely shit himself. Even he must recognise, deep down, that he's NOT a leader. That's why he never shows any signs of leadership, because he can't do it and he knows he can't. He's not even the leader of the opposition. That role seems to fall between Jimmie Krankie and Boris/JRM. He could barely even think of his own questions to ask at PMQs, hence we used to get a question from Sally in Manchester, or Maya in Haringey. He would be a total embarrasment on the international stage but, to give him credit, I think he knows this already. He's a protester - nothing wrong in that - but he's no leader, and he's certainly no PM.

He'd be an appalling statesman and national embarassment- he's just a Momentum stooge. If he got into Number 10 he'd have woodchip on the walls 😁

Good to see all the bitter old Tories on here trying to divert attention from the dozen cranks, nobodies and right wing loons, currently fighting it out to see which one will be the person the ERG and DUP tell what to do in to a debate on Corbyn.
Tragic and very, very, funny.

I reckon that the new Prime minister can at the earliest be in place mid July... Parliament goes into recess towards the end of July until the first week in September.., then roughly 7 weeks to October 31st..... it's going to be very difficult to agree any sort of " deal" before then ( particularly as the first obstacle is that the EU has said it won't renegotiate). It seems to me that either we try to leave with no-deal( which Bercow says that he will manoeuvre to prevent....if he does there really will be hell to play) or parliament agrees a variation of May's treaty. Chaos and anger to continue

The longer this contest is going on the more I’m leaning towards old boris The establishment are trying to do everything they can to stop him
It started with negative news stories in the press Then the court case And if that doesn’t work let’s get trump to publicly back him
There out to get him you have to ask why ?

He's just like Nigel Farage in that respect, even with the support from the Donald. He's got a lot of public support and he's a threat to the "establishment agenda". Stories in the press, smear stories, rake up old comments, biased interviews, blah, blah, blah...... Pity the media don't use the same level and intensity of scrutiny for all M.P.'s isn't it ?

And now there's another one ! Sky reporting that : Former universities minister Sam Gyimah has announced he is entering the Conservative Party leadership race. The MP for East Surrey supports holding a second referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU. He becomes the 13th Tory to throw his hat into the ring to succeed Theresa May as prime minister. link
