Looking to buy a telescopic battery operated one . My days of going up. Ladders and slicing through cables are over I'm afraid. There is a bewildering array of choice out there so any I should Or shouldn't buy ? Any advice would be appreciated , Mary berry please no comment ☹️

Don't think it started that way, but it probably is one now.

Look at the weight of the machine before you buy even the light ones feel heavy after a few hours use, if you do go battery go for Sthil, Makita or possibly Ryobi at a push, buy cheap buy twice.

Don’t forget to check your bush for wildlife before trimming.

Spend big, if not it’s like using an electric tooth brush on your bush. Nobody wants that
