Maybe not fair for me to make assumptions however wouldn't be surprised to see he's been suffering from mental health issues.
To go from winning league getting called up for England to virtually nothing regardless of money it must be very hard to take. I'm sure if he could turn back the clock he would either still be at Leicester or somewhere else.

Well being a virtual corpse he fit in with the rest of our midfield

We could give him some game time on loan (Chelski paying most of his wages) if Allen leaves.

Chelsea only signed him to keep their homegrown quota up, same with Ross Barkley.
I expect he’ll do a Wilshere and rock up at Bournemouth, they seem to be the respite for the infirm and the disgraced.

In a way if someone wants to sit on the bench and not play football for big wages I have little sympathy.
They care far too much about money to play for a smaller club.
Harsh but no one is forcing him to not play football.
No fucking pride some of these players.

There have been a few players who seemed to be doing well, good players and who then slide into oblivion. i can think of another 3 or 4 from the premiership.* Bridge, Bony, Rodwell, Michael Dawson...
* Am tempted to add ‘.. and about 15 at Stoke’, but I won’t.

Its strange how one player is seemingly tarred with the same brush as a far worse behaving one.
