Didn’t she turn Rock Hudson... With a whip crack away Thing is Wag, I’ve got musical Tourette’s & was singing that earlier. Do you think she was trying to contact or possess me! All of a sudden I feel like wearing my hair up & putting on pink lipstick...

Quite simply the greatest female star of all time.
Top box office film star, won oscars, and massive recording artist. Starred opposite Cagney, Sinatra, Gable as well as the likes of Hudson and Garner. (Edit: She also played opposite James Stewart in Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much".)
Her demise came when she refused to be drawn into pornographic and violent films and her clean image went out of fashion in the late 60s. She was mocked as "the virgin". She had a very unhappy personal life with 4 husbands who beat her and lost all her money. So then she turned herself into a TV star in America to pay off debts with her son who had been off the rails in the 60s. She eventually turned to animal welfare.
RIP

I've only just realised she isn't Diana Dors.
I thought they were the same person!
