Jones is definitely approaching this from the right angle. And we know if he gets the right players he can produce an attacking exciting team. Massive few months ahead.

They might have been able to get a proper answer this time instead of getting fobbed off like they do in those 'meetings' of theirs with the club.

Thanks. It Is hard not to be swept along by the positivity of our manager, however I think he will do well given the backing and time.

Top interview! Really warming to the guy, and I think we stand a great chance with NJ running the show.
If it does actually go as well as he hopes, hanging onto him will be our biggest challenge.....

Good interview. There will no doubt be improvement next season but think it will take 2-3 seasons in championship to get where we want to be. Patience is needed from fans.

Very good interview.
No shirking responsibility from him and really want him to have the time to be successful.
And vitally... best wishes to him and his missus for a great wedding 👍

Trouble is I'm not working class. Will I be able to identify with the team? Apparently if you watch one episode of Love Island each series - and the same for I'm a celebrity, get me out of here - that qualifies you as an honorary member of the working class. Works for me and I went to Newcastle under Lyme School and grew up on the Westlands!

Works for me and I went to Newcastle under Lyme School and grew up on the Westlands! But when you grew up The Westlands was just a group of mud huts in a cow field. We lived at number 4 Roe Lane and (by coincidence) our house was the 4th to be built in Roe Lane. In those days the lane was a cul de sac running only as as far as the playing fields - the top end to Seabridge was completed much later. You could see why it was called Roe Lane just by looking out of my bedroom window - I would often see roe deer in the fields at the back. Now the nearest fields are probably 2 miles away from our old house. They call it progress!

I love NJ but I don't like the current transfer process, we've proven over the past few years it doesn't work for us with the structure we currently have in place - and by the sounds of this interview, that process isn't changing one iota and there lies the problem for me.

It makes you wonder, if he is as principled as he seems, how long he'll stick it. Unless the Leopards start changing their spots of course.
