Nice place to be fair, my lad played a football tournament there. It's a 1 hour journey on the train from Amsterdam to Zwolle, costs about £18/£20 return......

So you’s recommend going ‘dam and getting the train there and back, assuming it’s there? I remember reading about NJ going on a camp with a Luton and it being low-key and not what we have been used to so I wonder what the club are preparing for the demand here.

If you wanted to fly in, have an over nighter in Amsterdam and get over for the friendly yes it's probably the easiest way of doing. If you have a few days spare it's a lovely part of Holland if you wanted to driver across and stay somewhere other than Amsterdam, that's what we did my lad was there for 5 days in total.....

How can they not have the opponent and venue agreed? Again I’m not surprised given previous pre-seasons shambles but the tin foil hat part of me says the club don’t want us travelling in numbers abroad pre-season

Said exactly the same. Less than 3 weeks to organise anything. No exact location, so where to fly to, drive to or even catch a train to. Then there's accommodation.

Other clubs/press announcing matches before us. Last minute changes. Announcing late. Same as is happening now. It amazes me, even after they were told in the meet the chairman night, tell fans early. I can’t believe they don’t know at least the ground and opponents less than a month before. Even I don’t think they’re that useless. As has been said, I genuinely think they see fans as an inconvenience at times. If they had any brains they could put on travel packages, meet and greets. Generate some money and good will. Imagine 1-1.5k hardcore stoke fans abroad getting a chance to speak to the manager/players/club. Invite the social media groups, foreign supporters clubs etc all in same area. It could be a great annual event. I’ve had some of the best times following stoke abroad, I feel they really miss a trick. But again, I’m not surprised.

£15 fucking quid

What’s the point in charging £15? It will be a small crowd anyway so the money made on ticket sales will be insignificant. Should be £5 for adults and kids for a quid.

£15, what a fucking joke.
They charged £15 last season against Wolves and they bought more than we did!
The game is going to shit, it won't be long before we're all priced out.

Once again the morons running the show have outdone themselves. £15 is an absolute joke. Should have pushed to get the people through the gate with a much lower price.
