4./4.5 Didn't post after the game because I couldn't figure if we were good because they were bad or because we played well (in parts) He played Bauer which is a good sign that Jones dosnt hold grudges and keeps faith with McClean (who given his workrate should be a fans favourite.) I hate to say it but Im warming to his system but we have to hang onto Allen and Etebo to move on and upwards next season.........

7 I don’t think that some of you understand football, the manager cannot score our goals. Benik Afobe could have and should have scored a goal. If he would have scored we would have won cannot understand how any of you can go after the manager for the players missing chances??????

Who picks the team despite the same player missing two straight forward chances at Boro, while leaving a £9m Centre forward he signed on the bench? Perhaps you don’t understand?

Vokes has been struggling for fitness since he came here hasn't he, having not played much at Burnley? That coupled with wanting to give Afobe a fair crack at it would probably explain why Afobe has had a fair amount of game time. If Jones dropped and sold Afobe now, there couldn't be any complaints from anywhere could there?

Id probably say that any striker, no matter what level should have scored that chance. I love vokes and would prefer him to be playing over afobe but you cannot blame the 0-0 on jones😂

When you think that Steve Bruce went to Wednesday just after Jones came here. At that time Wednesday were below us (17th) and Steve Bruce was considered a joke of a manager on this forum. they have finished 10 points above us AND let's remember they have invested a total of ZERO pounds in players in 2018/19 compared to our £60m whatever it is we have pissed up the wall. Bruce's record W 7 D 8 L 2 27 goals Jones W 3 D 10 L 6 13 goals How did he get on at Villa, a club in a much more comparable situation to ours than Wednesday’s? A 45.1 Win percentage at Villa compared to Jones 15.0 win percentage at Stoke For Jones to match Bruce's record at Villa he will need to win at least 43 of his next 83 games (Bruce managed Villa for 102 games winning 46 of them)

Nothing is more depressing on here than people pining for dinosaurs.

Surely having a ypung progressive manager that can work long term is more exciting than a fat arse who will sign elmohamady.

I'm a) presenting facts and some actual evidence (rather than idle prejudice) which b) tells us that we have a manager who is currently performing considerably worse than a dinosaur.

I'd rather people stop using the term dinosaurs, it's a myth, as is left wing, right wing rubbish. Terminology used to over simplify, stereotype and categorize. It's rubbish and has no pertinence. (But only to discriminate against due to age, i.e. ageism) All this person is showing is that Jones is performing terribly on comparison to another. Give up with the ageist remarks and simply say "yes, Jones is doing a terrible job, let's just home things improve next year otherwise we are in for a shit time and he will inevitably be another victim of our incumbent regime".

So very hard to judge lambo / rowett / Nj... They all walked in to such a mess
I think collectively/ eventually things are slowly turning?
So difficult to manage a squad full of overpaid tossers
And with the exception of verlo and afobe the whole team is off the pace. He has to try and get verlo or afobe or both on the pitch, otherwise we are just a team of plodders. Even though one is a kiddie and the other seems to dodge the physical
His options are minimal
Maybe he should pick Collins Edwards verlo and Campbell next season and hope two or three out of 4 come through
I hope he has lined up a couple of Luton players to come in during the summer
Because if he's relying on the transfer market genius of Scholes and carto then heaven help him
