Managers love to say things that basically 'Stoke' the fire. As in, he knows we were crap, he's building his own players up by saying they performed to our level even tho we were totally crap. It's about all they can do really and is a taunt towards us He’s also good mates with Jones apparently

We know what we saw today and it was very poor and uninspiring...that is fairly universal......even on here, which takes some doing!!!! As for marks Jones : 3 Hugely disappointed that Verlinden is not being picked. He is the brightest prospect we have by a mile, now would be the time to give him some pitch time to get the feel of this level. Huge opportunity missed. I could accept it if the players he was picking were doing something to merit their places. Very uninspiring football.

Excuses, excuses. 1 from me, only because we didn’t lose. Wrong line-up (what was Verlinden done to deserve being dropped), wrong formation because we don’t have the players for his ridiculous diamond formation and wrong substitutions that came too late to change the game. He should have brought on Verlinden for Ince, Woods for McLean and Vokes for Afobe, and played Allen at 10. This manager has less ideas than Rowett who had less ideas than ...etc.

Grim. Just grim. I'm still backing the guy, for me he's done enough to earn a summer window Can you advise what you mean by he's done enough? What exactly has he done? He's got a worse record than the last manager who was sacked and we don't look like improving.

So you agree with him dropping one of his better performers for no apparent reason? yeah I do, he made us a hard side to beat, Ince cost us 12 million he’s not going to leave him on the bench for an academy player, he needs to look at everyone to see who he wants to keep, if ince can’t play the diamond he will be sold, if would have been a different story had afobe been snake score one of His several chances Hard to beat? He's won 3 out of 21 games. You get more points for 3 wins and 3 losses than 6 0-0 draws. I'm all for being 'hard to beat' if the draws accompany a few more wins, but this is painful. We were 'hard to beat' under Rowett (until Christmas).

We were the best side again but just cant finish the chances. He will buy a striker and a number 10 and a left back, the rest of the side is good enough We were the better side but against an awful team, it was painful watching us trying to play a passing game, this lot just aren't capable, its going to take more than just three players to sort this mess out.

Anybody know where we would be in the league now since Jones took charge if every team was on zero points when he came, if you get what i'm trying to explain??
Cheers

3. 3 wins in 20 is awful record, keep hearing it's not his squad but if he can't get the basics right what chance have we got next season. Can’t argue with that, just 3 wins in 20 games is a pathetic record from the squad that was tipped by many to win the league. We knew after the first 10 games under GR that any talk of promotion was madness but it is not unreasonable to expect to finish in the top 10. Just one more to go thankfully then NJ gets some time to make his mark, I’d stick with him for next season but if things aren’t looking any better come the start of 2020 then he will be going the same way as GR.

When you think that Steve Bruce went to Wednesday just after Jones came here. At that time Wednesday were below us (17th) and Steve Bruce was considered a joke of a manager on this forum. they have finished 10 points above us AND let's remember they have invested a total of ZERO pounds in players in 2018/19 compared to our £60m whatever it is we have pissed up the wall. Bruce's record W 7 D 8 L 2 27 goals Jones W 3 D 10 L 6 13 goals

I suspect Wednesday will be in and around the top six next season!!!

I thought getting someone in to turn it around in the short to medium term is exactly what we need right now, otherwise the direction we're heading to is league 1 with mickey mouse managers and tactics.
