You look at that spine for Utd and there’s your problem. Smalling, Fred, lukaku. All awful. They have a huge rebuild ahead. Add to that the lack of work rate then they have a huge problem I said this the other day that they remind me so much of watching us. I also said theres not many I'd take down stoke and there tells you how big a job they have there. This. They have similar a problem to us, just on a bigger scale. A squad full of players on ridiculous wages, who just go through the motions without the motivation to put 100% effort in, they can come out and say the right things to the press then stroll through their Saturday afternoons & do it all again the next week while they pick up their next paycheque & the manager takes all the responsibility.

You see, if I was out there now with 3 minutes left I certainly wouldn't be letting them take the piss. I'd demand my team mates charge at then and at least give them a reducer.

Instead of just throwing hundreds of millions at it they should work with the players they have got. There's some talent in that squad and if it can be used well it can still produce good results. Pogba has to go though. The problem with that crop they have mate is they do have some talent, but they are unwilling to do the dirty part to allow the talent to shine. I’d be getting rid off the majority of that crap I'd put them on watch and make sure they know what's expected. Sounds simple but I honestly aren't sure they do.

157 goals in a season. Wow. I can't be arsed to go back to see how long it's taken us to score 157 goals. Since 1863.

I got slated in the pub for saying it earlier, but I'd genuinely rather have somone like Nzonzi sitting in midfield, recycling possession, breaking up play etc I think he'd allow the shit to get more out of their attacking talent. Pogba's an absolute beast he should be rampaging through opposition midfields like a Yaya Touré on monkey dust with the physical attributes and ability he has,but he seems to fall between two stools for Utd,neither destroyer extraordinaire or consistent creative force.Bewildering really.

Well Pogba hasn't worked out. And it looks worse when you remember how much he costed and how obsessively Mourinho chased him. If he wants to leave the shit (and his performances suggest he does) would one of the Europe mega clubs touch him? When he hits form and plays well it only emphasises how dull he usually is.

Agreed, the lad clearly has a lot going for him, however I'd say he's some distance from being the player, say,Michael Owen was at the same age?

Skillful good finisher with agility. BUT he needs to move. Ideally overseas for a new environment to help him to grow up as a footballer and as a man.

Owen was the Mbappe of his time but even better wasn't he?! I'm just staggered how people can suggest Rashford has never done anything 'cause that's nonsense.

Mbappe has the attributes to become the greatest player ever. But he has to leave Paris to really fulfill his potential.

Owen was equally a phenomenon. Can't agree Mbappe is "loads better" or could be the greatest player ever as well. Won't get anywhere close to Ronaldo or Messi's stats for a starters.

We don't know what will happen. But has more potential than anyone. His touch agility and finishing ruthlessness eclipses anyone. His pace is staggering. At 20 he has the world at his feet. At the World cup last year he looked totally comfortable on the biggest stage. The stats thing can be deceptive because his game is a bit different to messi and Ronaldo's. But to continue to grow he needs to leave Paris. Like Rashford has to leave the shit.

I agree there was a spell when Owen was as good as anyone I've seen apart from Maradona and Messi.
