Was reading today that there were loads of Sheff Utd fans in the Hull home ends on Monday. Could be an interesting afternoon on May 5th.

Been here before with Sheffield United.
97/98 around Christmas time. Trouble all over the ground.
Gareth Taylor scored for them IIRC and not long after his goal a Sheffield Utd fan jumped out of one of the home stands and ran into the away end.

They are mental. I know that from my Sheffield days.

Surely our modern up to date ticketing system will prevent any of this🤔😄

If they are thinking about it. I would suggest they speak to Man City fans. They didn't last long.

I’d just give them all the south stand. Could minimise them in home areas

They jumped up when they scored the first and they got twatted. Loads ran over from the boothen to join in. As my memory recalls, we went 2-1 up and then they equalised in the 90th minute? What a great season that was 😂 Boxing Day wasn’t it?

No doubt a few will get tickets in our ends as they’ve done at Preston and Leeds. Remember that Boxing Day game they’d arrived late and there were huge queues to get in the away end so a few a chanced it in the home and got a slap but our support back then was on a different level of now but Millwall away will see the return of many old lads so may expect a few to turn out at home to Sheffield Utd, was always more trouble at their place we used to take thousands in the late 70s.

For about 10 minutes it was pandemonium.

The best I ever saw was at home to Millwall when away fans were banned and we lost 1-0 (2002?)
Millwall scored after about 90 seconds, some old boy jumped up to celebrate, got a slap, and walked out with a big grin on his face with pies and drinks raining down on him.
The other 88 minutes were so bad, he literally saw everything there was to see, still makes me laugh when I think about it......

Do remember the Blades fans causing right problems In the Sentinel Stand early on in the Britannia days down near the Boothen End side. Proper went off and a load started to make their way towards the away end after a goal they scored & decided to celebrate..

Donkey jacket and black eye to match 😃 Go on Stoke!

How many football fans these days are genuinely prepared to get into a scrap at the match? Very very few and that’s a good thing. There seems to be this notion on the Oatcake that crops up from time to time that our ground on a match day is packed full of real tough bastards ready to fight at a moment’s notice should an away fan end up somewhere they shouldn’t be, but it’s 2019 not 1979, or even 1999.
Honestly if some Blades fans want to watch from the home end and are sensible about it - no overt celebrations, no antagonising home fans - then I’m okay with that. I wouldn’t begrudge another fan the chance to see their team get promoted.

If it’s anything like Leeds’ visit earlier this season then It’ll be unpleasant. Plenty of them around us in Block 1, got progressively mouthier as the game wore on. I think Sheff Utd will be worse as they’ll be celebrating promotion. Not looking forward to it at all.

Sheffield United fans are on a par with Wolves fans for being Gobshites.
I hope we can ruin their day even if it means Leeds going up

Last time I was at Bramall Lane we took 6000+. I remember it kicking off on the way back to the Station with them on one side of the road trying to break through the police lines..when they did they got a pasting. Very different situation today.

We drew 2-2 from 2-0 up in about 2003/2004, back when away supporters had the whole south stand. Sheffield Utd brought a load of lads that day, then after equalising in the last minute launched an attack. Instead of attacking our hooligans that used to congregate in the west stand they went over the old scoreboard no man's land towards the fucking family stand. I've always thought of their hooligans as weak and cowardly for that.

Sheff Utd played preston a few weeks ago and loads of their fans stayed in blackpool for the weekend, where I live.
Loads of trouble on the front that Saturday morning.
