Sorry, losing the will to live again here...
It wasn't dire management, it just wasn't really quite good enough. Again. Back in the rut. Don't mind negative if it works, but it didn't.
4* from me
add * if you were privileged to witness our performance in person today

4, he completely fucked up his first sub, there was no need to change the system just change the player, the rest came too late to make any real impact.

2*
Dreadful starting 11, utterly dreadful.
A dead rubber game where we should be blooding youngsters. Collins, Verlinden, Lasse (maybe injured) and we end up with 2 x centre halves in the full back roles and James fucking McClean and Sam Clucas playing some version of only Nathan knows what.
On top of which we have Ashley Williams who is on fucking loan taking up another spot.
Subs - dreadful
Interview - dreadful
Overall day - yup, dreadful.

3*
Far too conservative, we were at home to the 3rd from bottom!
too many players out of position bmi, Williams, Clucas (although not sure of his best position)
No pace, movement up front or width
Adobe sub made us even worse. And the other subs ludicrously late

3 He was a bit hamstrung by injuries so I thought the starting xi was OK at least we had one creative player starting. His subs again were off the scale bizarre. As soon as we concede he shits himself and hooks Bojan for the woeful Afobe therefore removing any creativity. Nathan lad we were simply awful at Swansea with no creativity in the side. Why did you think it was a good idea to repeat the tactic? Absolutely baffling and worrying that he can't seem to learn from mistakes. The subs on 87 mins were again nothing more than him referring to page 5 in his Football Tactics for Dummies book which says you have to make subs at a late stage if you are under pressure merely to disrupt. As for his interview!!! Again Nathan learn from history, similar rants by Rowett cost him his job.

0.
Poor starting line up. With his direct phone line to the big man I'm devastated he didn't magic us a new right back in time for this game. Very poor Nathan, god obviously doesn't love you back.
We started off very passively, which was obviously to instruction. The pace was far too slow, which is the fault of the manager having been here for 3 months and not improved their natural pace one iota.
Having gone in 2 goals to the good we started off worse in the second half than we did the first half. Nathan loses loads of points here for instructing the players to do that. Why do that Nath? Time to kick on.
More points lost for the Afobe sub. He should have brought Diouf on and sprinkled some magic dust on him as he walked onto the pitch, to make sure he didn't perform the way he has over the last few appearances.
The obviously glaring error was removing Bojan. A fate worse than death around these parts. He's the best player in the world, Nath.
Overall though Nathan, why didn't you tell your players to match the workrate of Rotherham. Why did you tell them to lose every 50/50 challenge on purpose?
Shocking.

5* When you score 2 (one that was class from volkes) but could have quite easily lost ( 3 brilliant saves from Jack ) No Verlinden should Knock it to a 3*

He's a few games away from 3's and 2's turning into Sack/10
2 From me.
The back line was silly.
As for his interview, I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest he isn't as out of his depth as GR was. We needed a Moyes or someone with the experience and stature to handle what was left over, and he's done fuck all to prove that wrong.
The chest pumping seems a long time ago. Getting dominated by Rotherham is totally totally unacceptable.

I could live with the team selection, he sees the players all week and Williams created the 1st goal. We then got lucky, we are due some, with our 2nd goal. They fought back, as expected, and we continued to be ineffectual. After the break Rotherham were all over us like a rash and Jones had to inject some stability. IMO he made the error of removing Bojan, our only creative player which meant Rotherham could attack us even more. The final double substitution a few minutes from the end was bazaar. 5 for team selection, 0 for game management = 5

1: he picked a decent keeper.
Our best performance under Jones was the win against Leeds with Bauer and Clucas at wing back.I actually felt optimistic about our new manager then.
The suspension of Edwards and the absence of any real LB at the club should have a led to a similar selection yesterday but he chose to go with 4 CBs and Clucas in some midfield role that defied description ( really wtf was he supposed to be doing for 89 minutes of that game?)
I've decided to reduce my mark to 0 on account of his Rowett like post match comments.
