Was reading the Bentilee thread and it was nice to see so many memories people had and the schools they went to so i thought i,d ask the question my primary school was Dove Bank in Kidsgrove 73-79 then i went to Maryhill Comp 79-84 i,ll be honest i hated school couldn,t wait to leave but had some real good mates and fun times there could be a dark place at times too , i had the nickname of Spuna if anyone went the same school

Trentham High 1977-1982. Anyone else who went there remember the larger than life amateur thespian headmaster Ken Lowe? Happy days.

Sandbach School, was a good school run by an old school guy who valued being a well rounded individual over exam results, apparently gone downhill over the last 11 years, but compared to some of the schools round here much better, with the arrival of young flea79 this year might move back that way in a few years if the schools dont improve....

Hanley High, occasionally. Berryhill used to batter them Hanley high and Wilfield knew who ran the show I honestly can't remember any fights, maybe because I wasn't into that, or maybe it happened before? I left in 1985. I know there were some handy lads a bit older than me, but they were more one on one types.
