They've done a great job at Wolves, but still can't see where it is going in the long run, they have spent a huge amount of money but are still trailing the top six by a long way. I'd just like to know what the long term strategy is.

I'd just like to know what the long term strategy is. I am guessing it's a few cup finals and a European campaign. in fact just like us a few years back. That they are close to eclipsing our best season at the first attempt is pretty much amazing. Credit to those who run the club.

I'd just like to know what the long term strategy is. I’d hazard a guess it’s to continue investing above their peer group , think big , win a cup close the gap and perhaps Leicester like break into the top four , however if it’s to get in the top ten , try to be clever by launching a sustainable policy by clever transfer manipulation , waste £190M and lose the £100m revenue stream we’ve the perfect blueprint and chief executive a small commute away .

Wouldn't mind us going for Ruddy if Butland left, safe pair of hands.

Talking to a Wolves fan yesterday who suggests their long-term aim is to be Champions League, financially the sky is the limit If they can keep Espirito Santes then who knows That said let's see how they fare when their manager and best players are lured away One swallow and all that

With a club like Tottenham I could understand it, there are plenty of tourists etc. willing to pay over the odds for things, but this is Wolverhampton , the arsehole of the West Midlands, they are never going to generate big money, from sponsors etc. Even the richest people aren't going to plough £100 million in every year.

Begs the question, why take off Neves and Jota?! Poor management imo. Especially taking Jota off.

Think the idea is to sign prospective superstars like Neves and sell them for a huge profit.

I'd just like to know what the long term strategy is. It just ends in tears. Unless then finish top 6 next season it's a failure on this season. It's like us. The better you do, the more the fans want and expect. It only goes one way.
