He's not a left back mate and I've taken that into consideration but even a centre half being shoehorned into the left back slot should have the ability to pass the ball 10 yards to a Stoke player. I'm not sure Indi completed a single simple pass today and in fact he gave the ball away countless times in very dangerous areas putting us under unnecessary pressure. He got skinned numerous times by their young right wing and was out of position in as many more. They targeted his poor touch and slow ponderous movement all game. Tymon must be diabolical if Indi is a better left back and should be sold in the summer. Joe Lolley didn't get a sniff against him the other week. He just had a bad game today. In fairness I was saying that today mate. The contrast with Forest and today was startling.

Butland 6, not much to do, but again awful kicking. Edwards 8, MOM another good game. I'm slowly warming to him as a player. Shawcross 8, steady again Batth 7.5, very good in the first half, but a couple of dodgy moments in the second half. Indi 6.5, OK, but looked heavy and slow. Etebo 7, worked very hard, but not good enough attacking-wise. Allen 6.5, too many stray passes for my liking. Ince 6.5, our most dangerous player again, but still not much end product this afternoon. Verlinden 7, good debut, but nothing spetacular. McClean 5, decision making and close control is diabolic! Vokes 6, looked a bit out of pace. Bojan 3, no impact. Afobe 3, what's wrong with him. Can't stay on his feet and every pass seems to miss the target! Diouf, not enough time on the pitch. Ince our most dangerous player! you are joking of course?

Any others in the team close to that? No, I didn't think so. He is also one of few players in our team able to take a defender on and actually succeed now and then. Verlinden looked promising and will hopefully also be another creative spark so we don't need to rely completely on Tom Ince every time.

Butland 7. Had nothing really to do but apart from some poor wind assisted kicking did it ok. Edwards 8. Another good game got forward well and defensively sound. Shawcross 7. Back to steady Eddie. Batth 7. Has sorted out out the centre backs. Indi 4. Slow in thought and action. Couldn't pass wind. They clearly targeted him as the weak link, and they were right. Had a mare. McClean 6. Gave 100% as expected, put in a few decent crosses and almost/should have scored. Just no skill. Allen 7. All over the place, as usual, put himself about more, still can't pass. Etebo 7. Started like a train. Some good surging runs. Faded badly. Still can't pass. Verliden 8. Good debut, strong, positive and skillful. One minus was he offered Indi, who was having a mare, no help at all. Ince 2. Enough said. Vokes 5. Nowhere near fit and could barely run. Held the ball up ok, nearly scored. Afobe 2. That air shot WTF. Did he have his flip flops on? Bojan 3. Not long enough on the pitch but looked totally ineffective. Diouf - 1 minute?

Ince is lightweight, lacks consistent effort, is too one footed and too predictable, if we are relying on him to be our major threat I see more disppointment ahead.

Who else have we relied on creating anything this season? McClean!!? A lot of people seem to agree Ince is our biggest problem, but actually he should be the last to worry about of our attacking players.

Ince flatters to deceive, he is worse than useless wide right where he usually receives the ball while running towards his own goal in order to make a huge arc to get it onto his left foot, in the centre as a number 10 he flits in and out of the game and does not impose himself on the game. At his age he has had a ridiculous number of clubs, why do they all feel ready to let him go? Hopefully we too can get rid as we certainly do not want to be building next year's team around him.
