I bet there would be 100% that said no. Yet a vast majority of drivers don`t fecking use them. Is it really that hard to flick a fecking switch up or down,so other drivers know where the fuck you intend to go?  |

The thing that does my head in about this, is that is younger drivers get constantly slated for poor driving, I ensure that I never exceed the speed limit, always use my indicators, and if I have entered the wrong lane on the approach to a roundabout, I just follow that route and make my way around to my destination eventually. Yet the people I see who are poor drivers are middle aged, zipping in and out from lane to lane 10 mph over the limit, not keeping a 2 second gap, not using indicators, crossing lanes on a roundabout, cause they were in the wrong one on the approach, talking on their phones, cutting people up and messing around with their young kids in the back, wiping their mouths, picking up dropped fruit shoots etc. Yet as I say is young people get hounded for bad driving, just cause of a few speeding adrenaline junkies, all a media agenda against ‘the youth of today’. We’re not all idiots. Rant over. |

Good advise from Institute Of Advanced Drivers......... always use your indicators where not to do so will cause confusion to other drivers and pedestrians. Having said that I once witnessed an accident when a van was indicating to go left off a main road and a car pulled out from the turning into the traffic flow but the van driver wasn’t turning left resulting in a side impact accident. Moral of that story is never to believe indicators in certain circumstances and I never pull out when a vehicle is indicating until I am certain the vehicle is making the turn. If you’re turning left it’s good practice to let a waiting driver know you’re turning by indicating with your arm across your body so he isn’t just relying on your indicators.

Dont get me started on this one!......they have definitely gone out of fashion.....it seems to be the norm to not bother with them....it's not just annoying it's dangerous. |

The vast majority of Taxi drivers don't use them !, in fact they don't appear to know the highway code I am convinced most of them have never passed a driving test. |

worse than a lack of indicators is people who start rolling out on you on roundabouts before you are even past them, i now slow down if i spot people doing it, soon sharpens them up, if they hit me so what

I thought that indicators should be used to Indicate that you want to go Left or Right, Right?
When i was in Bali in January, Drivers put on their Hazards to show that they are going straight across a junction, rater than left or right...
