A quite wonderful actress, fully deserved for a talented actress and beautiful lady. The UK can be incredibly proud. It's an amazing story😁😁

It's an amazing story😁😁 Haven't seen the current film so can't comment, but she was in '2012', the BBC spoof series about the Olympics held in London that year, and she was excellent in that. Also in it was Amelia Bullmore (sp?) - an incredibly talented British actress. OC will be playing QEII in the next series (the third) of 'The Crown', and taking over from Claire Foy, so it'll be interesting to see how that turns out. Personally I think she's got the wrong teeth.

I also think she would have made an inspired choice for Doctor Who better than the one they made. So good in Broadchurch too.
Let's be honest she's set for life now.

Credit to her but the Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar was farcical. The Oscars have seriously lost any credibility, the TV show Extras summed them up 100%

I strongly recommend Tyrannosaur- the directoral debut of Paddy Considine- which stars Olivia Colman as an abused wife (and is f*ck all to do with dinosaurs).
Gritty viewing, hard to watch at times though.

Really pleased for her, I first heard her on the radio with "The Mitchell And Webb Sound", she was a brilliant voice actress on it.

First came to my attention in The Night Manager, doing that while you are actually pregnant was brilliant. Top lady.

(As per the above clips......) She was sec to Hugh B (who was EXCELLENT) and pining for him but it was all in vain! The whole thing was very, very clever and very funny, and everyone in it was a real hoot. There are quite a few clips on YouTube.

It’s actually quite nice when you see someone in any occupation work hard from the bottom to get to the top instead of the metaphorical silver spoon

I've always liked her, she was really good in 2012, and I thought she was excellent in Broadchurch and the Night Manager. I thought she was really good in the Kev and Bev adverts. She's worked her way up to the top and is now reaping the rewards. Good for her.
I just hope the media don't do their usual thing and start to criticise every thing she does from now on.
I think there is a big possibility of her becoming a Dame in the future.
