Got me down as Stoke/Wolves, which is fair, as I lived in South Staffs for a while...

I'm a southern Stokie it seems. There were a few words there that my friends used but I did not. They used to say I was a bit posh for when I we moved to Burslem from Shelton as a kid, which is of course true of anybody that was not born in the Mother Town.

Stoke. Interesting I as I left the UK 30 years ago and I don't think I have any sort of Potteries accent anymore unless I'm speaking with someone from Stoke.

Didn't really work for me. I've lived 50 of my 55 years in Stoke but the map hit most on mid Wales, Dorset, Warwickshire and Lincolnshire.
Good quiz though. Maybe it's time I learned the local lingo?

Very accurate - got me spot on (London), though I've lived in Staffs Moorlands for 35 years

Stoke-on-Trent wow!
Having lived in London for 20+ years I’ve stuck to my roots.
Probably justifies the stick I get on a daily basis for saying coook, book, loook 😀

Stoke 👍 I’m not surprised, I’ve got a thick Potteries accent 😊 Wouldn’t broard be the correct terminology 😉 You’re right, I should choose my words carefully next time 😉 I was born and bred in Castle, lived in Fenton, London and Stratford-upon-Avon, but still talk like Pottermouth 😀

My mate did this & he’s never lived in Stoke. His folks & grandparents are all from Stoke, but he was born in N Wales & has lived in Bath for over 15yrs & he came in as a Stokie!
