Butland - England squad player. Distribution a little substandard but if good enough for England then definitely good enough for the Championship.
Edwards - Young and enthusiastic with a half decent cross. Jury still out I reckon.
Clucas - Was decent at Hull. A better player than we are seeing for sure. Needs that 101% attitude.
Williams - A little ponderous. I don't think as bad as some say and can at least pass the bloody ball.
Bath - Decent at previous clubs and brings much needed leadership skills.
Woods - Another one - great at Brentford. What do we do with these guys once we have them ? I like him, but again need 101%.
Adams - A match fit Charlie Adam should walk this division.
Allen - Never less than 102% effort. Top scorer. Gets stick but stats don't lie.
Bojan - Another one - A Bojan with one leg should still be the best player in the division. Needs a run of games.
MacLean - Never gives up. Not the best player but usually does a job. No centre forward though.
Adobe - proven player at our level. We have not given him much support so hopefully Vokres and Adobe can click.
V okes - a good focal point up front. Should do a good job for us at our level and bring other players into the game in the final third.
Shawcross - Not the player he was. His back is hampering him. Bench unfortunately.
Once - If he had half his dad's desire he would be a good premiership player. Unfortunately he doesn't, but another one proven at this level.
Berahino - When he plays I think he does okay. Off the pitch maybe a little wayward shall we say.
Etebo - I like this guy. Does a job and does not look out of place. Lots more to come I reckon.
This is not a critique of our players, but overall we should obviously be doing far better. Iike NJ and wish him all the luck in the world. The players are obviously better than he has seen by far. Sort it guys. Pride. Passion. Effort. At Stoke we expect that. We don't expect you all to be world beaters, but you should, between the squad, be championship beaters. Now show us.

ADOBE - proven player at our level. Vokes - a good FOCAL Adobe. Their InDesign is a must. Focal. Great loudspeakers. Canadian, I think?! Vokes, is that a new model? Just kidding. Agree with your intentions in general. We should be able to get out more from these players. 😉

Either you've been hijacked by autocorrect, or you can't spell the names of nearly a third of our squad...

I've read "Woods was great for Brentford" so many times that I wonder if this is a same Woods at all who was mediocre for Brentford, and I mean mediocre according to Bees fans and different ratings I've seen online. I wouldn't expect any dramatic improvement from him, he basicly plays on the same level like here he did in Brentford. The fact that we paid too much for him doesn't make him a better player.

I wonder if Ince even likes being a footballer or his dad made him. He looks like he's in a film where he's having to do something he hates and in the end has to break free and go and follow his dreams to become a bee keeper or a gardener or something...like a bad Billy Elliot.

He was possibly, no more than possibly, our best player at Brentford. That's an opinion. But even if it were a statement of fact, it would tell you practically nothing, given the woeful, spineless, pitiful performance of the entire team. Put it a different way. I am perfectly prepared to believe that the Christmas special was the best Mrs Brown's Boys episode ever made. But again that sheds no light on its quality. They're all awful.

"The Apiarist". Or perhaps "The Hive". I reject "The Sting" for multiple reasons. Directed by an art-house German wearing a black polo neck pullover and smoking cheroots. Starring Eric Cantona as the Julie Walters character.

I wouldn't expect any dramatic improvement from him, he basicly plays on the same level like here he did in Brentford. The fact that we paid too much for him doesn't make him a better player. That's bollocks, it's easy to find Bees fans who loved him and think he was easily their best player for a period. In ten seconds' googling I've literally just found one comment saying "Is there a player in this division who is missed by a team as much as we miss Ryan Woods?" There was also a tweet posted on here after we played Brentford from an incredulous Bees fan saying how upsetting he found it watching Woods play crap for us when he had been such a talent for them. In the last few months with them he suffered personal trauma, wanted to move back to the Midlands and was out of the team a lot because his head was understandably elsewhere. Bees fans knew this and for that reason most of them thought the move was best for all parties, but he was never "mediocre" before that.
