100% with him. It will take him 3 years to sort this shower of shit out though. 3 years? that's 6 transfer windows. Are you seriously saying that a professional football manager needs this amount of time to improve things. He's inherited a squad that's cost well over a 100m to assemble. I'm sorry but I know a lot of mistakes have been made but you have to expect results much quicker than that. How long do you think it will take to shift, Wimmer, Imbula, N'Dali, berahino, McClean, Clucas, Afobe. It's not the manager I have no Faith in, its the transfer team.

To be fair though the number of transfer windows is irrelevant if its the current senior management team and technical director overseeing them. No need to look at their CV's, just look at the shit fest they have presided over for the last 4 years.

I am with him but he needs a MINIMUM till the end of next season to get us on track. I have zero delusions of a promotion push next season, it's the year after I am looking to. Sad to think how far out that is but considering where we are today it's the only realistic hope.

With him - but it's going to take time. This season stay up, next season challenge for a playoff spot and the one after promotion - with a squad we wouldn't even recognise. Whether the resident goat slaughters can stave off their blood lust is another matter,

I for one am very pleased at the overwhelming response to the OP of those who continue to support NJ.
The question now is "for how long?" The answer to this question I think is not in NJ's hands and is very dependant on the support and performance of everyone else at the club.
A number of former Premier League clubs, like Wigan, Blackburn, and Leeds, have had to drop down to the third tier to restructure. My own view is we are better placed than they were, and we have sufficient quality to avoid relegation. What is also apparent is the squad is a lot weaker than many, and I include myself, thought it was. Regretably Rowett's tenure did little to strengthen the squad or lift the gloom.
We are where we are because of a weak defence (all successful teams defend well), and an inability to create and score. Hughes neglected our defending for years, and when he eventually brought in CBs he neglected FBs. Lambert tried to stop the rot but proven incapable of winning matches. I had had great hopes in Rowett, but was disappointed at the policy of relying on failed Prem. players plus 2 spent rejects from Everton. A weak defence coupled with a negative approach to trying to win games was a recipe for failure.
Jones has disposed of Martina, gone with younger RBs, brought in Batth, a true leader, and most surprisingly removed Pieters. Whether this last decision will bear fruit or prove reckless only time will tell. Equally concerning is our inability to score and it is clearly proving difficult for Jones to get his present players playing the way he wants them to. If the players don't respond to his management soon we are clearly going to have to wait till next season and a fresh crop of players. In that case I would give Jones about three months into next season before I would question his capability.

I will be selling invisible magic capes round the back of the Boothen next home game. Good to see there will be so many takers.

I'm with him. Glad we went for a youngish, ambitious, passionate manager and I think given time his team will reflect these characteristics. I fail to see how an Allardyce or Moyes would have been good for the long term future of the club. Can't see us being relegated this season and even if it takes another couple of seasons I think next season we will begin to see better football and I'd rather be patient than still be in the same boat in two years time.

Definitely with him and I wish him well with this mess of a club. Just glad it's not me trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. He needs time and we have to have patience.

With him
Think there's lots of issues with the playing staff, and he's more equipped than the previous incumbents to work with that.
