It's interesting that the majority are saying 100% with him when only a few weeks ago most had not even heard of him. As with all things in football, results will ultimately decide his fate.....unless he turns all Rowett on us and picks a fight with the fans. Do we think the board will persevere if we get relegated ? I was aware of him but it doesn’t really matter that most weren’t, they have done their research since and realised what an amazing job he did at his previous club We won’t be anywhere near relegation Well we are 12 points off play offs and 12 clear of bottom 3, but if we lose the next two games alarm bells could start ringing-and let’s be honest that’s the type of things we do . Ipswich can’t buy a win , but look who’s in town next week , yes Stoke . But we are too good to go down ( aren’t we ). I am with Jones , but he needs to get some points on the board and hopefully preserve our status and by some huge miracle get rid of all these wasters in the squad , ( too many to name )

So we are not going to win any of our remaining games? Jesus you don’t half talk some drivel Next season we will be in a far better place and you’ll hopefully admit that you were wrong? Happily. If we win even 1 we are down. Show me any evidence that we know either how to see out a game, score a goal, avoid ridiculous mistakes. We can't even draw under Jones and the players are even further away from a winning mentality than under Rowett. No plan b, McClean as a striker, midfield all muddled, no defence, no left back at the club (at all). Ergh First of all, there is no chance of us going down Secondly, have some patience whilst he sorts things out He is working 12/14 hours per day to improve things and he will do There’s a reason that the fans and players of his previous club were gutted when he left

You should be asking if Jones, in the long run, will be a success. I don't.
We should have shown intent and gone for a big name manager to sort this shit out but we reek of Championship from top to bottom.

I'd still give him the benefit of doubt, but if he insists on playing McClean as a striker I'll certainly lose my belief in him! Yesterday must be the last time this happened!!!

I was a Jones sceptic from the beginning, I really hope he turns things around but his lack of managerial experience worries me, this is why i favoured someone like Moyes, I think the club were foolish to go down the 'young up and coming ' road at this present time., we needed a old head, someone who's weathered a crisis before, Jones seems to be in over his head right now.

Still 100% behind him and think he’ll be a great success for us.
The board have really got to back him in the Summer though, not just with incomings but with outgoings.

I still like him. I don't believe all his post match comments! He's fucking fuming inside. He'll turn us around or end up in the Looney bin! Edit: Thinking about it, he's already there!

You mean the same David Moyes who won 8 out of 43 at Sunderland? Didn’t weather a crisis very well there did he?

How can you measure any manager in the context of this expensively assembled shower of shite?? For my money he's getting rid of serially shit deadwood, has brought in 2 pros who will do a solid job for us, has given virtually all the squad the opportunity to show what they can ( or can't!) d0, and has made it abundantly clear that if you don't apply yourself in training you won't play on a Saturday. He is trying to teach the players to play his system ( and without 11 players of the required ability and character the 442, 352 etc crowd are missing the extremely obvious point that has been made abundantly clear over the last 20 months of inept performances) and gradually I can see improvements. We need to continue the clear out and bring in some youth and pace and NJ is the man to do that. He seems to be a decent, passionate, honest man with a proper football philosophy. I'm in.

It really is a mess. We have internationals out on loan and no easy way of getting rid of them. Clearing out deadwood is not simple, someone has to want them and they have to want to go. You can understand them staying put on long contracts and no appearance clauses to reduce their wages or so it would seem. Mr Jones needs to be given time to sort it out. Changing managers is like changing cabins on the Titanic. We have to be patient and back the manager and whatever team he puts out. We also need to have a look at the hierarchy that got us into this mess. A change of philosophy is definitely needed. Support Mr Jones I say!

With him.
It will take time to change the mindset within the first team, who are lazy and poor. Too many individuals who are just taking the money for nothing. That is what needs to change- players who are hungry and want to play for the shirt. NJ has a huge job on his hands and it will get better once the deadwood has been ousted. The board are the ones who have constantly been making the huge mistakes yet they are getting away with it. The more rubbish I hear coming from Tony Scholes, the more I want to subject him to the Orange tango man slapping he deserves for spouting such garbage! None of them have any clue about the players we need!
