100% with him. Long term project we need to be patient and far more supportive. Remember what we were about.

With him for 15 months, after that? It's funny to read this shit. Your not going to be with him at 3-4 more defeats in a row, your just not. It's going to be about results as it always is. 0.6 PPG in this league? With the same squad? And the interviews are getting worse? More of a chancer than Rowett? Hands tied? Are we just a shit club? All of the started? Oh dear

Still with him at the moment but if we don't win one of the next two games it will be very difficult to maintain that position

I like the guy a lot but the job is too big for him.
He'd have been better staying at Luton and we'd have been better with an experienced manager who actually knows how to manage these players.

I’ve got more faith in Jones than Lambert (very nice man but shit manager) & Rowett (obnoxious twat and shit manager) put together.

As time has gone on less convinced by him. But we've got to give him the chance. Sacking him will probably just make things worse.

For him. I like NJ. But feel that are forever doomed until the Boardroom is sorted out. Until that day, we need a least a manager who will have the gravitas to put the 'Boys Club' in their place and impose a cultural change over the playing side of the club. But why would Coates, Cartw/t and Scholes vote someone in who'd challenge them, hold them to account, criticise their work, want to take charge of their process, want their own men, not be prepared to be their fall guy, demand funds etc? So that aint going to happen. Even if Jones did go, would expect an over-grateful sap of some sort to be put in place. Our's is a job like Sunderland's now; we have Behrinho, they had Rodwell; we have Fletcher/Adam, they had O'Shea/Gibson; we have Ryan they had Brown; we have Imbula, they had Khazri, we ahve Wimmer, they had Djilobodji,
The best hope - and its a dwindling hope - is that NJ suddenly clicks. If the relegation zone starts looming closer though, I wouldn't be surprised if he walked.

With him
But he needs to shape his bench with a few more youngsters, Campbell and Verlinden for instance, when you glance at the starting XI it makes you cringe with hopelessness. Then you try in vein to search for a little relief from despondency only to find the bench is also full of past failures.

Some of the most negative, tedious, shit football I’ve witnessed in over 40 years watching Stoke + some shit signings! Are you saying you’d rather have Lambert or Rowett back?

100% with him.
He believes in a system and is determined to make it work. He believes in fitness and players who are committed. It will take a long time particularly with our squad of players. I know there are some on here who think he should change tactics and cut his cloth to suit the players he's got. I don't agree. It may bring a few extra points in the short term but get us no where in the long term.
He will remove the old players. Crouch (replaced with Vokes), Martina, Afellay have gone. Pieters shipped out. Fletcher and Diouf not used. Others will follow when he can get replacements.
He is stuck with Rowett's signings who have long contracts. He has to give them every opportunity to show what they can do, and demonstrate whether they should be retained or moved on (at some considerable expense). He can't just tell the Board I'm not using all those players you have just signed on long contracts. He does not have many alternative options anyway.
He uses Shawcross, Williams and Indi because he has had to up till Batth arriving. My guess is the writing is on the wall for Ryan, and Williams will go back to Everton when we don't need him any longer. Similarly Adam will be used if needed but time is running out for him as well.
As for the rest Butland will be sold if an acceptable offer is received, Bauer, Edwards, Etebo, Allen, Berahino, and Bojan have to show they can do the job required in the Jones system of play.
He has given youth a chance (Edwards, Tymon, and Campbell) and I'm sure he will give others a chance in due course.
Finally his headaches are only starting because we have 15 other players out on loan, whose futures have to be resolved. It's going to take an age to sort that lot out.
We should back him because the evidence of what he is capable of doing is there to be seen at Luton (promoted last season, top of Div.1 this season with exciting football). As I posted on another thread there are many highly successful managers who started from the bottom when young, like Clough and Ferguson, who had to overcome sackings and work their way up from the bottom to great success at the highest level.
If I change my mind, like I did with Rowett, I will let you know.

I'm generally happy when we win, but as many others, we use this forum as a way of expression, which as we are one of the worst sides I've had the displeasure of wasting my money, time and effort watching, reassembling not even a minute proportion of a single value that I would deem favourable, I find myself here discussing indifferently with others whom chose either to hide or vent their concerns amidst this catastrophe. In short, we are fucking shit.
