It's a wonderful place, I feel sad for the people who can't see it and even sadder for the people who continually run it down. Just think what it could be with a little more positivity.

Thankfully there seems to be some real bright and innovative people about the place driving things through. I've taken my eldest lad and his girlfriend who come from outside the area to various places and she always remarks how green the place is scenery wise.

I thought I knew most of the greenery that Stoke and Newcastle had to offer but since starting running 7 years ago it's been an eye opener. The canals and the old railway lines are an absolute bonus to the area.

Stoke on Trent has a few things going for it. Central Location, Good communications by rail (north-south at least),motorway and A 50 and low house prices in relation to other cities. Most of the city could do with extensive restoration or renewal but on the other hand, there is superb countryside with a short drive of the city centre. I believe the also has good broadband so all in all, there are a lot of attractions for business in the city.
