I had to watch it again, because I couldn’t believe we were as shit as I thought. I should’ve known better.

Why is their first touch so bad? Why when they lose the ball do they just stand there and expect someone else to sort it out? Lazy fuckers

The first was a horror show from Tymon but he was trying to cover two men, nobody was helping him, and the pathetic attempts at closing down in the box - well it's expected of our defence I guess.
I don't understand why all 3 of our CBs were acting as incompetent LBs for their second, the amount of space left in the middle is incredible. Bauer was clearly a long way behind play too but I don't think he stood a chance at getting close to it.
You have to say PNE defended well, the last ditch clearances made the difference for them, we had chances with the one cleared off the line and the penalty miss. Had we not gone so gung-ho then we may have come away with a draw, but we can't leave that much space at the back when we're only 1-0 down, we threw any chance at the point away.

Lazy fuckers Bang on, it's sort of more noticeable on the extended highlights than at the game. So many heavy touches and loose passes leading to the opposition pinching possession or the risk of a yellow. He had a good game but the highlights don't show Etebo in the best light for the goal either , what was that lunge all about ?

3 minutes 13 seconds if you want to see that little cheat Pearson try to get Martins Indi sent off.
Retrospective action should be taken on things like that.

Am I being harsh by saying Butland could have done better on the first goal and maybe even the second

Am I being harsh by saying Butland could have done better on the first goal and maybe even the second Nope ur not. And his petulance is almost as disgraceful as his kicking. Yes i know he won us 2 pts last week but so what means nothing if he cannot do the basics

I think some credit is due for the preston fellow who scored the first. Lovely bit of skill to make space and a decent finish. It was one of the few bits of individual skill we saw in 90 mins and certainly better than anything we produced.

It is said that a week is a long time in football, or am I getting confused with Brexit and politics. And if you think one week is a long time, just look at our roller coaster of changing fortunes over the last two weeks.

If Ince had have done it, we'd be shouting from thr rooftops.
That said, he only ever got the chance in the first place due to Tymon's total inadequacy.

Williams looks like he had an even worse game on these highlights than I remember from yesterday - and Shawcross (bloody hell). Being really picky now, but why did Butland not even dive for a shot from just inside the box for their first goal? He was almost bollocking the defence before the ball crossed the line.
