Mean't to be going tonight, but i'm a bit unsure whether to go. It is quite far.
Has anybody been there for a night out?
what is it like?
what are the clubs like for age (members of the party are between 18 and 30) i.e are many places 21 and over
Is it expensive?
Thanks in advance

Is it far from where?
It's not too bad, not a lot to go on, I haven't been this year, did go last year but can't remember exactly where as it was Xmas drinking. it's obviously in the Cheshire rich belt so plenty of top totty about.

Not been for ages. Full of try hards and wannabes from what I can remember! We used to go to waverly's but that is closed now. Other bars to try include the bollin fee which stays open late or suade which is tiny. no club clubs to be honest. If your going to Wilmslow mate you might as well carry on into Manchester for a proper night. Oh and if you go to the Slug and Lettuce be warned a physco blond bird works behind the bar. Forgot to say that you should be alright over 18's. Lots of young ladies about for the younger (and older!) members of the party.

Never understand why people who don't live there go to Wilmslow on a night out, same with Alderlely Edge - pretty boring places to go and if your making the effort may as well go to Manchester!

Great place. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and I love it. Friday night does tend to see a mass influx of gold diggers so perfect your 'footballer' look and you should be well in. Tell them you are one of the Premiership's latest recruits from the mighty Stoke City. If your in a mixed group I would suggest the slug and lettuce as the best place to go. If you want a livelier night head for the Bollin Fee, where the booze is reasonably cheap, and so are the ladies. Avoid Suede on the high st and chapters is a bit naff too. There are less and less pubs as the months go by, most of them turning into decent restaurants but I still think its an enjoyable night out. Alderley Edge is well worth a visit, its only a mile or so away and if you are sad enough to be impressed with celebs, there are usually one or two kicking about. Be prepared to pay silly money for your drinks wherever you end up. Have fun.
