a well worded question making it clear that you dont wish to discuss the past but very clearly and plainly asking for the plan over the next 3 seasons would be the way forwards and what changes are being made to improve things

Can you think of another business in which - as CEO - you could oversee a significant reduction in turnover, abject utilization of high cost assets, an erosion of product quality and an alienation of your customer base and still keep your job?
OR
What is the club's aversion to foreign managers?

When are the club going to address the fact that trying to get anything from the beverage stands at half time is a disgusting free for all? I watched a kid trying to get some chips get out muscled by several blokes on Saturday until I pushed him in front of me.

There is a Pepsi vs Coke style debate regarding Papa John's vs Domino's that has been waged for years. Tony, what is your preferred pizza takeaway of choice? Do you think Papa John's should even be mentioned in the same breath as Dominos?

Emailed to Radio Stoke this morning:
Dear Sirās
I believe Tony Scholes (CEO Stoke City Football Club) will be a guest on a sports show this week
Would you be so kind as to relay the following observations and ask several questions which are listed below
Observations
It appears a new recruitment and retention strategy was implemented following the appointment of Mark Cartwright in December 2012.
Between the January transfer windows of 2012 and 2018 SCFC signed 38 players. Many of the players were loan, free transfers (no such thing) and transfers relatively low in cost.
Notable exceptions being the likes of Allen, Shaqiri, Berahino, Imbula, Wimmer and Ndiaye.
The strategy appears largely to be built around a concept of quantity over quality.
A strategy which it could be argued was a significant factor in the clubs downward spiral and subsequent relegation.
Questions
With hindsight does Mr Scholes consider that either the recruitment strategy or the process to deliver it was a flawed, and if so have lessons been learnt?
How many of the 38 players signed could be considered as a value adding member of the first team squad during their stay with the club?
With reference to the recruitment of Mark Cartwright would Mr Scholes highlight Mr Cartwrightās main attributes highlighted during the recruitment process for the role of Technical Director i.e how many years experience did he have of global transfers, managing a scouting process etc.
For different reasons it should be a good listen

My order of questioning:
Why did Hughes stay on past the summer and if you backed him, why wasnāt he backed financially which every fan knew we had the weakest squad since we came up and nothing was addressed?
Who is responsible for the following recruitments, imbula, Wimmer and NāDiaye?
Why after a month of the season starting weāre our expectations lowered to play offs, when you clearly stated we had learnt our lessons?
Finally, if we donāt get up this season, which is highly unlikely this season, what lessons are we to learn and what does next season hold?
Thanks

Such a shame that Radio Stoke will have thrown it straight in the bin.

If Gianelli cost Ā£18m, and Saido was two thirds the cost of Gianelli, and Kevin cost the same as Gianelli, how much more did Kevin cost than Saido? To the nearest million. Show your working out.

Tony, is it true we are the 6th highest spenders in English football in the last ten years? If yes are you slightly embarrassed we sit mid table in division 2? .. how is it even possible to turn a club to shit in that style and in that space of time? We are not in Division 2 (yet). We are.

We are not in Division 2 (yet). We are. We honestly are. Or League Division 2, as I like to call it. It's as though someone pumped knock-out gas into the club about 30 months ago. A bit like an episode of the Man From UNCLE or The Prisoner. And we woke up looking at fixtures from 10 years previously.
