*He'd be mad not to take that offer.

Will be a good opportunity for him. If we can reinvest the wages Then could perhaps work for both him and us. Might explain his absence. Surprised he’s only on 27.5k per week.

The sad thing is he will never be the same player he was for stoke pre injury. That includes the lack of game time for what ever reason previous managers would t play him.
NJ obviously would like him fit to reintroduce to the squad but if I’m honest it would be easier not to have that burden plus as said reinvest the wages.
Sadly it’s a great deal for stoke

Good deal for Bojan.
Would be a shame to see him go but that’s football.
Be nice if he was afforded a 15 minute cameo against Preston if we were able to do that, he would get one of the most heartfelt send offs you’ll ever see at the club....,,

What about a fee ?

Getting big earners of the payroll has to be the priority, can’t see there being a fee....

Would it be a free transfer if it goes through - presumably it would - or any fee would be nominal?
The only thing that I find odd about the story are the alleged 27k per week wages from Stoke. I'd have thought you could add at least 13k on top of that?

Tricky one, good deal for both parties if true. Obviously Jones wants a smaller squad, I doubt Bojan would be the first name on the list he’d like to shift though and I still think, like Charlie proved yesterday, they’re the two clever footballers/passers in our current squad. Under the new manager they’re both very useful assets. Charlie appears to be a starting eleven asset no less. A match fit Bojan on the bench would be a pleasure to have.

Nathan is still a massive bojan fan, he will only leave if it's his own personal choice. He's still not 100% that's why he's still not involved.

They’ll come back in the summer. Hope Bojan gives it one last go here first 🙏
Nixon is such a twat posting that on a Sunday morning. He could have waited until tomorrow and let us know enjoy all of our weekend. Knob.

If he can perform at this level, how on earth is it a good opportunity for him. Unless people are suggesting the championship is on par with the American league. If its the money that is the "opportunity " Bojan as never come across as a player who jumps ship for the dollar shaped carrot. Think theres every chance he will go to one of rivals before he retires in USA

As much as I'd like to see Bojan light it up here again, he'd be mad to turn down that offer if it's true.

Time for me to find another sport to watch.
Or jump in front of a train, haven’t decided which yet.

Good move for all concerned if true. Bojan gets the chance to play in a lower profile league and we get some premier league wages off our books. Ps do they want Fletcher, Crouch, Cameron, Diouff, Wimmer, Imbula and Ndiaye as well.

If there’s one person in our team who I don’t think would go just for money.

Even in the formation yesterday there’s a space for Bojan against the teams that’ll just sit in.
Be a shame to see him go, but if he is going I hope we get chance to give him the send off he deserves.
The last player from the stokealona era😢

You’d think he’d go for that but then at his age maybe he still thinks he’s got plenty to offer in a top league? Didn’t he turn down China in the summer?

I just wonder if Bojan is suffering as a result of our expectations of him and the fact that Rowett singled him out as the fans favourite ☹️ His health is the priority and if that means a move away from England then it’s the right decision We can still sing his name 😎

I've enjoyed watching bojan and he was a 1st on the team sheet pre injury. Hes not been utilised to his strengths but for the sake of his happiness please just let him go. Wish him all the happiness in the world but he cant live in the premise that he might get a game or go on loan.
Thank you boj but times move on.

If its the money that is the "opportunity " Bojan as never come across as a player who jumps ship for the dollar shaped carrot. Think theres every chance he will go to one of rivals before he retires in USA I very nearly posted something similar about Bojan not seeming money orientated. If the deal is as reported, it would be a good contract for the player and obviously he’d look the part at that level. That said, even under Rowett in his brief cameos he’s looked good enough for us too. Obviously you can’t shift player no one wants but ideally those on loan abroad along with Fletcher and Pieters would be cut out before Bojan. Potential game changer, joy to watch on his day, even after the injury. The sort of player you pay to watch play.

Well Barcelona get 50% of any fee we get for him so if we sold him for 5m we'd only get 2.5m so really I imagine it's a decision being left down to the player?
