Mame is clearly such a lovely bloke. What horrible luck.
Hope the fans will show their support in the next game.

He was treated so so poorly by Hughes after the death of his mother. Out of the side for ages then brought back as a wingback. Disgraceful really. Very sad to hear about the passing of his father.
After everything he's been through here you wouldn't begrudge him a move elsewhere, despite him probably fitting right into the new man's diamond alongside Afobe.

I know he was touched by the support Hughes and the club gave him after his mother’s death, and I think the fact that he went on to sign a new deal probably proved this. But on the pitch absolutely he was treated shabbily. For all his faults if Diouf plays 38 Premier League games a season up front he scores 10/12 goals. Anyway my thoughts are with Mame, RIP Mr Diouf x

Sad news, I still think there's a decent championship player somewhere in there. He's notched double figures in a season at top level albeit some time ago. Surely he can cut it at a lower level??

Now I'm not saying I'm a brilliant manager but he's got 11 goals and 2 assists for me from right wing / right back so far as of 16th March 2019 in Football Manager.... Nath I'm willing to have a chat about how to get the best out of him.

Don't cut parts of my post out please. That's not what I said and it reads very differently than originally intended. You missed the key part out of that part, the part where I said he was out of the side for ages then brought back as a wingback. Why did you cut it out?

He was always a decent CF until Hughes ruined him by trying to convert him to a WB. He lost all his self-confidence under Hughes and has never recovered. He scored a cracker against Liverpool in that 6-1 thrashing and hasn’t done much since. It is a crying shame.
