Imbulu is the best waste of space I have ever seen. Arguably the most talented player we’ve had at stoke in the Prem. But no manager would be able to get more than 50% out of him. Absolute lost cause. No argument at all he's crap. The most one footed player I have ever seen, plays with his head down with no vision of what's going on around him.....and just in case you were going to put up a YouTube link to the Chelsea game he supposedly bossed, just watch it and you'll see he continually loses possession or passes to a Chelsea player....and that's him at his best ! Him and Wimmer have to go down in history as the 2 worst signings ever

His best football cam under an attack minded, pressing manager. That man was bielsa, I think Jones could make use of Imbula because in Jones system there’s support behind the position Imbula would play. Maybe so but imbula still needs to want to play, I've seen more 'hardwork' in a sick note and NJ supposedly sees it as an essential if you are going to play?

Both on the bench I reckon, can't see them being fit enough to start.

Both on the bench I reckon, can't see them being fit enough to start. I agree, especially with Ince being more ‘mobile’ then Bojan. I think Bauer could sneak into the XI but I think he’ll go Edwards and Pieters.

I just think hughes bought him and never knew what to do with him and certainly never played an system to accommodate him as he’s useless in a 2 and isn’t a no10. Bare with me on this one, he reminds me a lot of Pogba, who had similar problems, he is another one who needs to play in a 3 with a licence to roam. Which would suit Imbula perfectly too, or if he’s in a 2 with an anchor behind him.

Ask Newcastle!

Both played in Rowett's first match at Elland Road! That day we had Badu playing who was not interested. Out of interest can you recall the system we played that day?

Having read a number of articles and interviews in the French press, and seen how he behaved here, it is fairly clear that Imbula never wanted or intended to be remain at Stoke. He came here temporarily, under pressure from his father/agent, to secure the big long contract. He had no intention of settling and learning the language, and wanted to get back to France as soon as possible. Mission accomplished and completed for Imbula unfortunately.

As true as that may be, take heart in that he'll have had the same pay deduction as the rest of them following relegation. I bet that wasn't his intention!

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like we’ve almost got a new squad again? I’m genuinely excited that NJ might at last be able to get the best out of players that have been rotting on the sidelines or loaned out for months.
i don’t want to get too carried away but, fuckit, I genuinely fancy Afobe to score today!

Personally I think NJ will be a massive plus for bojan , he’s fluent Spanish for a start and also bojan will feel the love off him , bojan May hav lost his form but you never lose your quality , NJ may just be the man to re ignite Bojans career again , onwards and upwards I genuinely hope you're right. My concerns are, does Bojan have the legs anymore, and more importantly does he have the mental strength to rebuild his confidence? IF he does on both counts I honestly think we will soar up the league.

IF he does on both counts I honestly think we will soar up the league. The other problem for Bojan is that he needs game time to build that match fitness and confidence. Its easy to forget that even in his first season here he didn't make his mark until about 10 games in. He had only had a couple of starts and cameos off the bench and after which it was the West Ham home and that Spurs away game when he suddenly became undroppable.

I imagine (guess) that Moritz will be on the bench too. EDIT: Just seen the above tweet. My guess is as good as my betting record; useless
