Would love the club to go in a completely different direction, just as Derby have done. Steve Bould Blurton lad, he must have learnt so much at Arsenal being right hand man to Wenger. At Arsenal they also have a tremendous youth set up something he could perhaps instill here. I would love to have him as manager with Crouch and And as his coaches. Know it won't happen but would be nice to just try something different.

It still hurts to this day thinking of when we let him and Lee Dixon go for a combined 790k which provided Arsenal with half of their defence for the next 7 or 8 years.

If you want to go down this route why not try Gary Neville with Darren Fletcher as assistant

He’s not got a lot of good things to say about Stoke. I don’t think he’d be interested in the slightest.

I'd take a chance on Giggs, schooled all his career by the probably the best manager ever. World class quality attacking player, world class reputation and could tap into some of the youth and fringe players at Manure. Then again I'd take anyone as long as his name isn't Fat Sam or Sparky. Gouranga.

This comes up every time, No, No and NO!
He never has anything interesting to say about us, and he has shown no ability whatsoever since he ended his playing career that he actually has any ability when it comes to organising a defence from the bench, let alone the whole team.

Bould is older than Moyes, surely if he had ambitions of managing himself he would have pushed on in that area long ago?
We know nothing about his style, but he spent an awfully long time in the game in the bubble of Arsene Wenger, which isn't a criticism or to suggest he couldn't do it. He simply hasn't had much in the way of experience outside of the way things were done by Wenger at Arsenal for over 20 years.
Lampard on the other hand has had something of a diverse set of experiences, the way in which Chelsea were run and then a pit stop stay at Man City. He will have seen the workings of several top managers in a short space of time. In addition to that, any green around the gills stuff is understandable, and his prominent name means a lot of players especially at Derby are more likely to look up to him and have a respect for Lampard as a player even if it proves Lampard the manager won't amount to much.

My window cleaner, who is a half-decent centre half - NO
A bloke I saw once in a Stoke top who looked passionate - NO
The tea lady - NO
Steve Bould - NO Max Boyce - NO Ryan Gigge - NO
FFS, we are offering about the 20th-30th biggest job in British football. Can't we just get a professional?... you know, with relevant experience, credentials, skills.... Asking too much?

I didn't realise Arsenal had kept him on when Wenger left.
It always looked like his main role was to look menacing in a beanie hat alongside Wenger.

the going in a different direction could just be what we need, i would definitely keep Peter crouch in a coaching /assistant managers role, but we went in a different direction with the Rowett appointment and that hasn't worked out as yet
