If nothing else, these stories in the national press heap more pressure on Rowett and the board to act.

The last line of that article sums it up for me
8 wins out of 24 (now 26)

PLIBT. Allardyce or Moyes would be an improvement.

An initial contract until the end of the season for someone with this experience, my preference would be big Sam, with bonus reflecting, making the playoffs and an additional incentive regarding promotion
This should also be written into players contracts
Expensive yes but worth it if we did go back up
I think that the board were prepared to give Rowett all of this season, but the fans reaction and the apparent low morale is making them reconsider IF THESE RUMOURS ARE PROVED TO BE ACCURATE
8 wins out of 24 - not good enough
Needs to happen asap

Hope this is true, but it seems like it could just be lazy journalism I agree but he doesn't ever seem to write about Stoke so odd he's chosen to be the first....but he's based in Cheshire so you never know

Surely Moyes or Allardyce would not come in with the current transfer team in place? Haven't they been asked before and said no?

Give an experienced manager with a good pedigree something to work with during the transfer window and try and salvage the season. It all does seem quiet today which could mean they’re knocking on a couple doors to see if they have a solution and cut ties or release a vote of confidence statement. Hopefully they’ve learnt from last years debarcle with QSF and MoN.

Moyes over Fat Sam, but I doubt either would be interested.

Higher than the ex England manager and ex Man U manager ? Pep or Klopp it is then, I'm sure they're awaiting the phone call

I'll be very surprised by if either of them would be remotely interested in us. It'd be a massive coup for us if we could attract either of them. Personally I'd prefer Jokanovic though.
